Baptist Women Meeting: Tuesday, May 2nd at 3:00PM at the Post Office: April items are: Socks, Coloring Books, and Hair Accessories.

M-Night: Tonight at 6:00PM at 1st Baptist Church of Shawmut. We will need Choir Members that night to sing with the community-wide ELBA M-Night Choir. We will also need Ushers to receive the evening offering. There will be no Discipleship or Evening Worship tonight due to M-Night.

Communion & Deacon’s Offering: Today.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is now being taken and will go throughout April. Our goal is $1,500.00.

2017 Contributions: $2,610.00

Today is the last day to contribute to this year’s Annie Armstrong Campaign. Thank you for almost doubling

our goal of $1,500.00

How we determine a service weather related cancellation: Services and programming at the church are cancelled without notice whenever there is an ACTIVE

WARNING (flood, tornado, thunderstorm, etc) for Chambers County within one hour of a scheduled service

or program. Services are not cancelled for weather watches.

VBS this Summer—We are in need of someone to give

leadership this summer for VBS. If you’d like to be our

leader this summer, please contact the Church Office.

Golden Heir’s: Tuesday, May 9th at 11:00AM. This

month’s meeting will be a special Sheriff Sid Lockhart Fish

Fry. Plates are $8.00 each and we are asking for volunteers

to supply the desserts. Please see Dot or Sandra for dessert

related questions. This is a very special event and we are

encouraging everyone to attend and to please bring a
