Working in cooperation with:
The mission of The Patrol Fund is to provide educational opportunities and financial assistance for winter enthusiasts to further their snow safety awareness and wilderness first aid knowledge.
During the past few decades this region had seen a marked increase in backcountry winter recreation without a corresponding increase in educational offerings. In response to this need The Patrol Fund started a Scholarship Programand created our Avalanche Education Program.
The Patrol Fund's Scholarships provide annual opportunities for six members of our community to attend wilderness medicine and snow safety courses. This program is funded byt-shirt sales, corporate sponsorship, the annualpatrol fundraiser, and donations from our community members.

All Level 1 and 2 Avalanche Courses take place at Whitefish Mountain Resort
Enrollment for Avalanche Courses begins December 7, 2017
The recipient of a Community Scholarship is awarded the amount of the course tuition and fees. Lodging,
food, and transportation costs are not included.
Applicants may only apply for one course per season.
