Abstract

Transcritique: Authenticity in materialisme de la rencontre

Hyeon-Hyo Ahn

Kojin Karatani interprets Marx through the lens of Transcritique from I. Kant. I reinterpret Karatanis understanding combining Althussers understanding Marx, so called materialisme de la rencontre. This interpretation tries to construct authentic political understanding on socialism. Transcritique provides theoretical clues to solve contradiction between nominalism and realism in Marxism. From this clue, we can reconstruct genuine Marxist politics.
