Validation process
E-petition is filed, relevant ministry reviews it
Within 10 working days the ministry decides if the e-petition meets the requirements to be open for signing
If the e-petition meets those requirements, it gets published on the website and becomes accessible for signing – petitions gets email notification
If e-petition wins the support of at least 6.000 citizens in 60 days, the relevant ministry presents it as a formal motion to the Government for consideration

Data are automatically checked against public records, if correct,
voter receives notification of successful voting. If not, the system
will reject the attempt to vote

General rules
Requirements
A petition must not contain:
• Classified information, libel or false information and
unlawful initiatives
• Insulting, humorous or meaningless requests
• Topics outside government competences
• Issues referring to honors and appointments
One person can file no more than 3 petitions per week.
Use of personal data
Threefold protection:
1. Personal data are used in accordance with law in an encrypted
form.
2. With the authorization of the Personal Data Protection Agency
3. With personal consent of persons who submit or sign petitions
Personal data are used only for the purpose of processing e-
petitions and statistics
Only the name of the petitioners is published, the names of
people who sign e-petitions and other personal data are not visible
even to the webmaster
