Dementia Champions

Our Year 5 children are working with Bee Active #beeactivestaff at Rowan Court care home to develop as Dementia Champions

A Dementia Friends Champion is a volunteer who encourages others to make a positive difference to people living with dementia in their community. They do this by working with people with dementia helping to maintain their physical and mental wellbeing. All of the children will have the opportunity to take part in this initiative using this term’s gospel values of LOVE and COMPASSION

October Half Term

Should you need childcare or an opportunity for your child to let off steam during the October Half Term Bee Active will be running a holiday camp at Newcastle college. Further details and booking can be found at www.beeactive.co.uk. The children love their Bee active sessions at school so you know they will be in good hands.

We have streamlined our clubs to ensure a variety of activities are provided during lunch time and after school. These will now run for 6 weeks each term dependant upon activity. The list below are the activities for this half term. Please ensure that you have returned the permission slip for your child and note the new times for collection after certain clubs.
