Pskov – is an important tourist center of northwest Russia. The list of cultural heritage of the Russian Federation includes Trinity Cathedral, Pskov fortress, Mirozhsky monastery, Pogankiny Chamber, a number of ancient churches of Pskov. The city is also a transport hub located at the intersection of railroads and highways.
Pskov Region – is the westernmost federal subject of the Russian Federation. It is the only region which borders at once with three states - Estonia, Latvia and Byelorussia.

1. The Russian Federation Visa
The one-entry visa invitation for official delegates (including culture groups, craftsmen, journalists) will be arranged in cooperation with the Municipality of Pskov.
When registering, please, send the following information and required documents to the e-mail given in the registration form.
– foreign passport copy
– place of work
– work address
– job position
Visa invitation will be issued within 1-1.5 months. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation is currently considering the issue of simplified obtaining
a visa and visa fee removal for official participants of the International Hanseatic Days in Pskov.
2. Border crossing procedure
While crossing the border you will be asked to fill in the following forms:
– Migration Card (it can be obtained aboard a plane, on a train or at Border Control Office).
– Custom Declaration form (the sample in English and German is here: http://www.customs.ru/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=13709&Itemid=1986. (In Rostok in 2018 blank Custom Declaration forms will be given to all the delegates)
– tobacco and tobacco products (more than 200/50 cigars or 250 grams of tobacco per person) – weapons and ammunition– narcotic and psychotropic substances– living wild animals and wild plants
– the amount of alcoholic beverages should not exceed 5 liters per person – fuel (more than 10 liters in a separate tank)

Attention!In order to provide easy border crossing we kindly ask you to prepare the list of imported goods and its amount in advance (by Rostok International Hanseatic Days 2018).Submitted information allows us to consider each list with the Federal Customs Service and thus, foster border crossing procedure.Currently, after the meeting of the Head of Pskov Ivan Tsetsersky with Head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation Vladimir Bulavin it was decided to organize a Committee within the Customs Service – especially for the 39th International Hanseatic Days 2019 in Pskov. This allows us to consider the possibility of duty-free import of goods to the Hanseatic Market. Each Hanseatic city will be informed in advance about the conditions of import according to the submitted list of goods. Lists of goods can be sent to the email address: [email protected] as well as any other questions.
