2015 ãîä ñòàë äëÿ íàñ ãîäîì ðàçâèòèÿ.
Âî-ïåðâûõ, êîëëåêòèâ ôèëàðìîíèè ïðèíÿë áåñïðåöåäåíòíîåðåøåíèå – ñâîèìè ñèëàìè íà÷àòü ñòðîèòåëüñòâî ðåïåòèöèîííî-àðòèñòè÷åñêîãî êîìïëåêñà, âåäü íàøè ïðîåêòû äàâíî ïåðåðîñëèðåñóðñû çàìå÷àòåëüíîãî, íî íåáîëüøîãî çäàíèÿ. È íå òîëüêî ðåøèë,íî è ïîäêðåïèë ðåøåíèå äåëîì, ïîæåðòâîâàâ ïåðâûå 653 òûñÿ÷èðóáëåé.
Âî-âòîðûõ, íà íîâûé óðîâåíü ðàçâèòèÿ âûøåë íàø Âèðòóàëüíûéêîíöåðòíûé çàë. Îí ïðåâðàòèëñÿ èç ïåðñïåêòèâíîãî â ýôôåêòèâíûéèíñòðóìåíò ìóçûêàëüíîãî ïðîñâåùåíèÿ è îáåñïå÷åíèÿ äîñòóïíîñòèèñêóññòâà.
Â-òðåòüèõ, êà÷åñòâåííîå ðàçâèòèå êîñíóëîñü íàøèõ ôèëèàëîââ ãîðîäàõ Ñâåðäëîâñêîé îáëàñòè. Îíè ñòàëè ïðèíèìàòü ó ñåáÿ ãðóïïûîðãàíèçîâàííûõ ñëóøàòåëåé èç Ôèëàðìîíè÷åñêèõ ñîáðàíèéáëèçëåæàùèõ òåððèòîðèé. Äðóãèìè ñëîâàìè, ìû íà÷àëè ñîçäàâàòüñèñòåìó ðåãèîíàëüíûõ êîíöåðòíûõ çàëîâ.
 2015 ãîäó îñîáîå ðàçâèòèå ïîëó÷èëà ñîöèàëüíàÿ ôóíêöèÿôèëàðìîíèè. Ìû ïðèíÿëè ïðîãðàììó «Äîñòóïíàÿ ñðåäà» è ñòàðàåìñÿñäåëàòü ïîñåùåíèå êîíöåðòîâ êàê ìîæíî áîëåå óäîáíûì äëÿìàëîìîáèëüíûõ ãðóïï íàñåëåíèÿ è ñëóøàòåëåé ïîæèëîãî âîçðàñòà.Òàêæå Ñâåðäëîâñêàÿ ôèëàðìîíèÿ ïåðâîé â Ðîññèè ïîäêëþ÷èëàñüê ìóçûêàëüíîìó âîñïèòàíèþ ãëóõèõ è ñëàáîñëûøàùèõ äåòåé.
Èç îãðîìíîãî êîëè÷åñòâà çíà÷èìûõ â òâîð÷åñêîì ïëàíå ñîáûòèéîñîáåííî õî÷ó îòìåòèòü äâà: Äåíü ìóçûêè ×àéêîâñêîãîâ Ñâåðäëîâñêîé îáëàñòè, êîòîðûé ñòàë êóëüìèíàöèåé òîðæåñòâ ê 175-ëåòèþ âåëèêîãî êîìïîçèòîðà. È «Áåçóìíûå äíè â Åêàòåðèíáóðãå» –èçâåñòíûé âî âñåì ìèðå êàê «La Folle Journee» – ïðåñòèæíåéøèéôåñòèâàëü ñ 20-ëåòíåé èñòîðèåé, êîòîðûé ìû ïðîâåëè âïåðâûåâ Ðîññèè. Ïîäãîòîâèëà ïî÷âó äëÿ ýòîãî ñîáûòèÿ íàøà ìåæäóíàðîäíàÿäåÿòåëüíîñòü, ïðîäâèãàþùàÿ Åêàòåðèíáóðã è Ñâåðäëîâñêóþ îáëàñòüâ ìèðîâîì êóëüòóðíîì ïðîñòðàíñòâå. Ìû ñ÷àñòëèâû, ÷òî ïðîäþñåðôåñòèâàëÿ Ðåíå Ìàðòåí ïîâåðèë â êîìàíäó Ñâåðäëîâñêîéôèëàðìîíèè è â íàøó ïóáëèêó, è ãîðäû, ÷òî îïðàâäàëè åãî äîâåðèå.
Äâèæåíèå âïåðåä â ïðèñóùåì íàì òåìïå áûëî áû íåâîçìîæíî áåçïîääåðæêè îáùåñòâà, ãóáåðíàòîðà, ïðàâèòåëüñòâà îáëàñòè. Íàøàäåÿòåëüíîñòü íàøëà îòêëèê è ïîíèìàíèå íå òîëüêî â ìèíèñòåðñòâåêóëüòóðû, íî è â ìèíèñòåðñòâàõ îáðàçîâàíèÿ è ñîöèàëüíîé ïîëèòèêè.
Ìû íàäååìñÿ, ÷òî íàøà èíòåíñèâíàÿ ðàáîòà è â äàëüíåéøåì áóäåòïðèíîñèòü ðàäîñòü âñåì æèòåëÿì Ñâåðäëîâñêîé îáëàñòè.
The year 2015 can be described as a year of our growth and advancement.
First of all, the Philharmony made an unparalleled decision to embark onconstruction of a new rehearsal and artistic complex by its own efforts, asour projects have far outgrown the capacity of the remarkable, thoughnot very spacious building. The words ripened into deeds when thePhilharmony staff donated the 653 thousand rubles to start.
Secondly, our Virtual Concert Hall has moved up to a new level. The long-range project has turned into an efficient tool facilitating accessibility ofart.
Thirdly, the quality growth can be observed in our branches in towns andcities of the Sverdlovsk Region. They receive organized groups of theaudience. In other words, we are building a system of regional concerthalls, and we can see our first successful achievements.
In 2015, a special impetus was given to the social function of thePhilharmony. We launched the program known as The AccessibleEnvironment to make it more convenient for disabled and elderly peopleto listen music in concert halls. In February, the Sverdlovsk Philharmonybecame the first in Russia to take part in musical education of deaf andhearing-impaired children.
I would like to single out two events out of a huge number of artisticallysignificant events: The Tchaikovsky Music Day in the Sverdlovsk Region.That day was the culmination of festive events dedicated to the 175th
anniversary of the great composer. The Follies of a Day in Ekaterinburg –known as La Folle Journee to the world audience – is a unique andprestigious festival enjoying a 20-year-long history. We were the first tohold it in Russia. The ground for this event was prepared through ourinternational efforts aimed at promoting Ekaterinburg and the SverdlovskRegion in the global cultural space. We are happy that Rene Martinbelieved in the team of the Sverdlovsk Philharmony and in our audience,and we are proud that we justified his confidence.
We would have been unable to move forward at the selected pace withoutsupport from people, the governor, and the regional government. Our workfound a generous response and appreciation not only in the Ministry ofCulture, but also in the Ministries of Education and Social Policy.
We hope that our zealous work will continue to give joy to all residents ofthe Sverdlovsk Region.

2015-é ãîä áûë äëÿ Ñâåðäëîâñêîé ôèëàðìîíèèîñîáåííûì. Îíà âñòóïèëà â þáèëåéíûé, 80-éñåçîí è ïåðâîé â Ðîññèè ïðîâåëà ïðåñòèæíûéÌóçûêàëüíûé ôåñòèâàëü «La Folle Journee»(«Áåçóìíûå äíè»), ïîäàðèâ ñîòíÿì ñëóøàòåëåéâîçìîæíîñòü ïîáûâàòü â òå÷åíèå òðåõ äíåé íà 70êîíöåðòàõ. Òðàäèöèîííî íà âûñîêîì óðîâíå áûëîðãàíèçîâàí III Ìåæäóíàðîäíûé ìóçûêàëüíûéôåñòèâàëü «Åâðàçèÿ», â êîòîðîì â ýòîò ðàçó÷àñòâîâàëè 500 ìóçûêàíòîâ èç 24 ñòðàí ìèðà.Íàñòîé÷èâîñòü ðóêîâîäñòâà ôèëàðìîíèè ïîçâî-ëèëà ïðè ïîääåðæêå Ïðàâèòåëüñòâà îáëàñòèäîáèòüñÿ âîçîáíîâëåíèÿ ñòðîèòåëüñòâà ðåïåòè-öèîííî-àðòèñòè÷åñêîãî êîðïóñà, òàê íåîáõîäè-ìîãî äëÿ íîðìàëüíîé ðàáîòû àðòèñòîâ.
Æåëàþ âñåì ñëóøàòåëÿì Ñâåðäëîâñêîé ôèëàðìî-íèè íîâûõ ìóçûêàëüíûõ ñîáûòèé, ÿðêèõ âïå÷àòëå-íèé è èíòåðåñíûõ âñòðå÷ íà êîíöåðòàõ.

The past philharmonic year was marked by thesignificantly increased number of peoplerepresenting regular and consistent audienceslistening to classical symphonic music; it introduceda magnificent repertoire helping listeners move fromperception of music to its understanding andappreciation; it continued attracting young people,kindling their interest in classical music, and madeunprecedented contribution to the expansion of theVirtual Concert Hall, thus increasing the number ofSverdlovsk Region’s residents being able to enjoyphilharmonic concerts.

2015 was a special year for the SverdlovskPhilharmony. It entered its 80th anniversary seasonand was first in Russia to host the prestigious La FolleJournåe Music Festival (The Follies of a Day), havingoffered hundreds of people an opportunity to visit 70concerts within three days. By tradition, the ThirdEurasia International Music Festival was impeccablyorganized, welcoming 500 musicians from 24countries of the world. Being persistent andsupported by the Regional Government, thePhilharmonic management caused resuming theconstruction of the rehearsal and artistic building thatis essential for smooth work of artists.
I wish all the guests of the Sverdlovsk Philharmonynew music events, vibrant experiences andinteresting encounters at concerts.

2015 ãîä äëÿ Óðàëüñêîãî ôèëàðìîíè÷åñêîãîîðêåñòðà áûë íåîáû÷àéíî èíòåíñèâíûìè ïëîäîòâîðíûì: ïðåìüåðû, ãàñòðîëè, ôåñòè-âàëè… Âñå ýòî òðåáîâàëî íàïðÿæåíèÿ ñèë, íîâ î÷åðåäíîé ðàç ïîäòâåðäèëî âûñîêóþ ðåïóòàöèþêîëëåêòèâà è ïðèíåñëî ðàäîñòü ñëóøàòåëÿì.
Ìíîãîå áûëî âïåðâûå. Âïåðâûå îðêåñòð ïðèíÿëó÷àñòèå â ôåñòèâàëå Âàäèìà Ðåïèíà ñ âûäàþ-ùèìñÿ ìóçûêàíòîì Ðóäîëüôîì Áóõáèíäåðîì,âïåðâûå âûñòóïèâ íà ñöåíàõ íîâûõ êîíöåðòíûõçàëîâ Íîâîñèáèðñêà è Îìñêà è ïî-äîáðîìóïîçàâèäîâàâ æèòåëÿì ýòèõ ãîðîäîâ. Âïåðâûåó÷àñòâîâàë â Ôåñòèâàëå Þðèÿ Áàøìåòà â Áåëî-ðóññèè.
Ìû ãîðäèìñÿ òåì, ÷òî èìåííî â Åêàòåðèíáóðãåâïåðâûå â Ðîññèè ïðîøåë Ôåñòèâàëü «La FolleJournee» («Áåçóìíûé äåíü»), ïîñòàâèâøèé íàøãîðîä â îäèí ðÿä ñ Òîêèî, Íàíòîì, Ðèî-äå-Æàíåéðî, Áèëüáàî, Âàðøàâîé è ñòàâøèéîãðîìíûì ñîáûòèåì äëÿ íàøåé ïóáëèêè.
Îðêåñòð ïðîäîëæèë õîðîøèå òðàäèöèè.  î÷åðåä-íîé ðàç ïðèíÿë ïðèãëàøåíèå êðóïíåéøåãîÔåñòèâàëÿ ôîðòåïèàííîé ìóçûêè â Ëà-Ðîê-ä’Àíòåðîíå âî Ôðàíöèè. Äëÿ íàñ ýòî – áîëüøàÿ÷åñòü, çíàê óâàæåíèÿ ñî ñòîðîíû íàøåãî äðóãàè âûäàþùåãîñÿ îðãàíèçàòîðà Ðåíå Ìàðòåíà.
Âûñòóïëåíèå ÓÀÔÎ íà Ôåñòèâàëå Äåíèñà Ìàöóåâàâ Ñî÷è ïîçâîëèëî êðèòèêå óòâåðæäàòü, ÷òîêîëëåêòèâ ñòàë «çâåçäîé» ýòîãî ìóçûêàëüíîãîôîðóìà.
Óæå â òðåòèé ðàç ïðè íåîñëàáåâàþùåì èíòåðåñåàóäèòîðèè è ìåæäóíàðîäíîé êðèòèêè â íàøåìãîðîäå ïðîøåë Ôåñòèâàëü «Åâðàçèÿ». Òðàäèöè-îííî åãî ó÷àñòíèêàìè ñòàëè î÷åíü èíòåðåñíûåãîñòè, çâó÷àëè ïðåìüåðû – ìèðîâàÿ, åâðîïåéñêàÿè ðîññèéñêàÿ. Ýòè ýêñòðàîðäèíàðíûå ÿâëåíèÿ óæåñòàíîâÿòñÿ äëÿ íàñ îáû÷íûìè.
ß äóìàþ, òàêàÿ èíòåíñèâíàÿ ðàáîòà îðêåñòðà,à òàêæå ïîääåðæêà ãóáåðíàòîðà, ïðàâèòåëüñòâàè íàøèõ äðóçåé – çàëîã óñïåøíîãî áóäóùåãîíàøåãî êîëëåêòèâà. È â ñëåäóþùåì ñåçîíå îíáóäåò ïðèíîñèòü íå ìåíüøóþ ðàäîñòü íàøèìñëóøàòåëÿì íà Óðàëå è âî âñåì ìèðå.

The year 2015 turned out to be exceptionally busyand fruitful for the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra:premieres, tours, festivals… Although the perfor-mances took a lot of effort, they once again theorchestra’s high reputation and afforded gratificationto the audience.
Many things were done for the first time. Theorchestra premiered in the Vadim Repin Festival,performing with the outstanding musician RudolfBuchbinder; it debuted on the stage of the newconcert halls in Novosibirsk and Omsk, admiring themand feeling happy for people living in these cities. Itmade its first appearance in the Yuri Bashmet Festivalin Belarus.
We are proud that Ekaterinburg was first in Russia tohost La Folle Journee (The Follies of a Day), thefestival that brought our city into line with Tokyo,Nantes, Rio de Janeiro, Bilbao, Warsaw, and becamea landmark event for our audiences.
The orchestra remained faithful to good traditions. Itaccepted an invitation from the famous La Roque-d’Antheron Piano Festival in France. It is a great honorfor us, a testimony of respect from Rene Martin, ourfriend and an outstanding organizer.
After the performance of the Ural PhilharmonicOrchestra at the Denis Matsuev Festival in Sochi,reviewers stated that the orchestra had become a«star» of the musical forum.
The Eurasia Festival hosted by our city marked itsthird birthday, generating unflagging interest from theaudience and international reviewers. By tradition, itwelcomed distinguished guests and presented world,European and Russian premieres. Such extraordinaryevents are steadily blending into our life.
I believe that rigorous work of the orchestra as wellas support by the governor, government and ourfriends are the cornerstone of successful future ofour orchestra. Next season, it will continue to bringjoy to audiences in the Urals and all over the world.

Îäèí èç âåäóùèõ îðêåñòðîâ Ðîññèè. Îñíîâàí â 1936 ãîäó. Êàæäûé ñåçîíïðåäñòàâëÿåò ñâûøå 70 ïðîãðàìì è îêîëî 100 êîíöåðòîâ.Ãàñòðîëèðîâàë â 18 ñòðàíàõ ìèðà. Èíèöèèðóåò êðóïíûå êóëüòóðíûåïðîåêòû. Ïðèíèìàåò ó÷àñòèå â ïðåñòèæíûõ ìåæäóíàðîäíûõ ôåñòèâàëÿõ(ñðåäè íèõ Beethovenfest, «La Folle Journåe»). Ñîòðóäíè÷àåò ñ âåäóùèìèäèðèæåðàìè è ñîëèñòàìè âñåãî ìèðà. It is one of the leading orchestras in Russia. It was founded in 1936. Eachseason the orchestra offers more than 70 programs to the audience andgives about 100 concerts. It has given guest performances in 18 countriesworldwide. It spearheads major culture projects. The orchestra takes partin prestigious international festivals (including Beethovenfest, La FolleJournee). It has recorded 28 CDs; some of them were made to the orderof Warner Classics International and Mirare. The orchestra works with theleading conductors and soloists from all over the world. It prides itself onits excellent musical instruments.
The general management of the orchestra around the world is heldby the agency «Les Productions Internationales Albert Sarfati» (France).

The choir was founded in 2008. It is a musical extension of the UralPhilharmonic Orchestra and plays compositions of cantata-oratorio genre.It enjoys creative autonomy, offering its own a cappella programs. Thechoir works with outstanding conductors and soloists; it givesperformances in Russia and other countries, gives concerts in prestigiousconcert halls (La Salle Pleyel is one of them), takes part in significantculture projects. The concerts with participation of the choir werebroadcast live by the Arte TV channel.

The orchestra was founded in 2006. It is a one-of-a-kind Russianorchestra-academy, combining education and concert life. Every year itgives 40 concerts, presenting 30 concert programs to the audience. Theorchestra have impressive concert touring and festival experience(including participation at the festival «Young Euro Classic» in Berlin). Itsperformers are students of Ekaterinburg musical institutions. Theireveryday life consists of master classes, rehearsals and concerts withoutstanding conductors and soloists; the performers spend a lot of timestudying traditions of performance of classical and contemporaryorchestra works.

LA FOLLE JOURNEE INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVALIN EKATERINBURG
From September 11 to September 13, 2015, for the first time in Russia, alargest international music festival known as La Folle Journee (The Folliesof a Day) took place in Ekaterinburg. The capital of the Urals was includedin the festival route, together with Nantes, Tokyo, Bilbao, Warsaw, Rio deJaneiro, and Montreal, due to the successful negotiations conducted byAlexander Kolotursky, Director of the Sverdlovsk Philharmony, and DmitryLiss, Chief Conductor of the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra and Rene Martin,Artistic Director of La Folle Journee.
All the special requirements of the La Folle Journee Festival were met:reasonably priced tickets and short programs following one after anotherduring three days in six concert halls located within a walking distancefrom each other. The theme for the transit festival for 2015 was Worldlyand Heavenly Passions.
More than 300 musicians representing 17 countries took part in theEkaterinburg La Folle Journee, including pianists Boris Berezovsky,Nicholas Angelich, Andrei Korobeinikov, Abdel Rahman El Bacha, DavidKadouch, Ekaterina Derzhavina, Yulianna Avdeeva; violinist NikitaBorisoglebsky; violist Gerard Causse; cellist Alexander Kniazev;harpsichordist Franñois Guerrier; guitarists Juan Manuel Cañizares andJuan Carlos Gomez; harpist Veronika Lemishenko; ensembles – RicercarConsort, Flos Florum, Motion trio, Prazak Quartet; Symphonic Choir ofthe Sverdlovsk Philharmony, choir Domestic; the Ural PhilharmonicOrchestra, the Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra, the B-A-C-H ChamberOrchestra.
22,000 tickets were sold to gusts of 70 festival concerts. The concertswere live broadcast and included meet-the-artist events. 180 volunteersrendered their assistance to the Sverdlovsk Philharmony in organizing andholding the festival.
The festival took place with support from the governor of theSverdlovsk Region and with the assistance of the Ekaterinburg CityAdministration.

Excellent organization. Warm, almost homelyatmosphere. A lot of young people. The artists, whohad come from European countries and visitedEkaterinburg for the first time, were impressed: Theopen-minded, attentive, friendly, and appreciatingaudience. Undoubtedly, the Congress Palace, likein Nantes, would have made our task much easier.However, I prefer to have a team like in the SverdlovskPhilharmony rather than have one concert site. Infuture, the La Folle Journee project may layfoundation for building a new concert complex inEkaterinburg.

III TCHAIKOVSKY FESTIVAL
In the year marking the 175th anniversary of the great composer who spentpart of his childhood in the Ural town of Alapayevsk, the TchaikovskyFestival was held on a grand scale. In 2015, it was included in the officialsocial-event program of the INNOPROM International Industry Trade Fairin Ekaterinburg.
From June 26 to July 12, the festival presented seven concerts withparticipation of such soloists as pianists Peter Donohoe (Great Britain),Zhang Zuo (China), Alexei Nabioulin, violinist Vadim Repin; orchestras:The Novaya Rossiya (New Russia) State Symphony Orchestra, the UralPhilharmonic Orchestra, the Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra, theTchaikovsky International Youth Orchestra and the Exemplary Orchestraof the Central Military District.
In 2015, the traditional, Tchaikovsky’s name-bearing Orchestra thatis supported by the Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra welcomed youngcolleagues from Spain, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan.The project moved up to a new level: In addition to its performances in theSverdlovsk Region, the international symphonic group took part in theInternational Music Festival «Classics on the Volga» in Togliatti.
TCHAIKOVSKY’S MUSIC DAYIN THE SVERDLOVSK REGION
On November 6, for the second time, theSverdlovsk Philharmony took the lead in promotinga cultural and educational event. On that day, theentire Ural Region was filled with Tchaikovsky’smusic that was played everywhere: In movietheaters, libraries, museums, educationalinstitutions, shopping centers, radio and televisionprograms, stadiums, streets and, certainly, inconcert halls – in Alapayevsk, Asbest, VerkhnyayaPyshma, Revda, Kamensk-Uralsky, and Irbit. In total,more than 100 thousand people took part in morethan 500 different events included in the program.

Ïðîåêò «Åâãåíèé Îíåãèí» (Ïóøêèí è ×àéêîâñêèé) â àâòîðñêîéâåðñèè Þðèÿ Áàøìåòà ïðåäñòàâèëè îðêåñòð «Íîâàÿ Ðîññèÿ», àêòåðòåàòðà è êèíî Ñåðãåé Áåçðóêîâ, ñîëèñòû âåäóùèõ îïåðíûõ òåàòðîâÐîññèè è Àâñòðèè, Ñèìôîíè÷åñêèé õîð Ñâåðäëîâñêîé ôèëàðìîíèè.
Òðàäèöèåé ôåñòèâàëÿ ñòàë èìåííîé ×àéêîâñêèé-îðêåñòð,êîòîðûé ñîçäàåòñÿ íà áàçå Óðàëüñêîãî ìîëîäåæíîãî ñèìôîíè-÷åñêîãî îðêåñòðà. Ê åãî àðòèñòàì ïðèñîåäèíèëèñü ìîëîäûå êîëëåãèèç Èñïàíèè, Òóðöèè, Àçåðáàéäæàíà, Ìîíãîëèè è Êàçàõñòàíà. Ïîäðóêîâîäñòâîì îïûòíûõ ïåäàãîãîâ îíè ïîñòèãàëè ñî÷èíåíèÿÏ.È. ×àéêîâñêîãî.  2015 ãîäó ïðîåêò âûøåë íà íîâûé óðîâåíü:íàðÿäó ñ âûñòóïëåíèÿìè â Ñâåðäëîâñêîé îáëàñòè – Åêàòåðèíáóðãåè Êàìåíñêå-Óðàëüñêîì – èíòåðíàöèîíàëüíûé ñèìôîíè÷åñêèéêîëëåêòèâ ïðèíÿë ó÷àñòèå â Ìåæäóíàðîäíîì ìóçûêàëüíîì ôåñòèâàëå«Êëàññèêà íàä Âîëãîé» â Òîëüÿòòè.
 2015 ãîäó Ôåñòèâàëü Ï.È. ×àéêîâñêîãî ñòàë îôèöèàëüíîéêóëüòóðíîé ïðîãðàììîé Ìåæäóíàðîäíîé ïðîìûøëåííîé âûñòàâêè«Èííîïðîì» â Åêàòåðèíáóðãå.

SUMMER ORCHESTRAL ACADEMY
The project was launched by the International Youth Cultural Centeropened in 2014 under the auspices of the Sverdlovsk Philharmony. Theacademy is intended to improve mastery and performance of youngmusicians of Russian and foreign orchestras; classes are conducted withthe support of the Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra and the program isaimed to strengthen international cultural relations of the SverdlovskRegion.
In 2015, the academy offered internship to young musicians fromRussia, Spain, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan. The ArtisticDirector is Enkhe, the chief conductor of the Ural Youth SymphonyOrchestra. Students are taught by Maria Antonia Rodriguez, theconcertmaster of the flute group of the Spanish Radio and TelevisionSymphony Orchestra (RTVE Symphony Orchestra), and Rodolfo Epelde,the concertmaster of the French horn group of the Spanish NationalOrchestra.
The cooperation with pianist Alexei Nabioulin, the prize-winner of the12th International Tchaikovsky Competition, made a significant contributionto the professional growth of the academy attendees. Yalchin Adigezalov(Azerbaijan) and Borja Quintas (Spain), conductors and artistic directors,rendered assistance in selection of musicians invited to the Academy forinternship.
The efforts of the Academy resulted in the emergence of a new group –the Tchaikovsky International Youth Orchestra. The orchestra gaveperformances in the Sverdlovsk Region – in Ekaterinburg, during the IIand III Tchaikovsky Festivals, and in Kamensk-Uralsky; at the invitation ofFabio Mastrangelo, it took part in the 8th International Music Festival«Classics on the Volga» in Togliatti. The orchestra presented two programsdirected by Enkhe and F. Mastrangelo.
After their internship at the Summer Orchestral Academy, all themusicians received certificates, which were handed to them at the officialceremony with participation of Pavel Krekov, Minister of Culture of theSverdlovsk Region, and representatives of the consulates of Spain,Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan.
ËÅÒÍßß ÎÐÊÅÑÒÐÎÂÀß ÀÊÀÄÅÌÈß
Ïðîåêò ñîçäàííîãî â 2014 ãîäó íà áàçå Ñâåðäëîâñêîé ôèëàðìîíèèÌåæäóíàðîäíîãî ìîëîäåæíîãî êóëüòóðíîãî öåíòðà. Àêàäåìèÿîðãàíèçîâàíà äëÿ ïîâûøåíèÿ óðîâíÿ ïðîôåññèîíàëüíîãî èñïîëíè-òåëüñêîãî ìàñòåðñòâà ìîëîäûõ ìóçûêàíòîâ ðîññèéñêèõ è çàðóáåæíûõîðêåñòðîâ, ïðîâîäèòñÿ íà áàçå Óðàëüñêîãî ìîëîäåæíîãî ñèìôîíè-÷åñêîãî îðêåñòðà è íàïðàâëåíà íà óêðåïëåíèå ìåæäóíàðîäíûõêóëüòóðíûõ ñâÿçåé Ñâåðäëîâñêîé îáëàñòè.

Ñïóñòÿ 15 ëåò â ôèëàðìîíèþ âîçâðàòèëñÿ Ìåæäóíàðîäíûéôåñòèâàëü ôîðòåïèàííûõ äóýòîâ: ñ 27 ïî 30 ìàÿ îí ïðîøåë â ñåäüìîéðàç. Ýòî «ôèðìåííîå» ñîáûòèå Åêàòåðèíáóðãà: èìåííî çäåñüÔåñòèâàëü ôîðòåïèàííûõ äóýòîâ ïðîâåëè âïåðâûå â ñòðàíå. Ñ 1989ïî 1997 ãîä îí ïðîõîäèë ðàç â äâà ãîäà, øåñòîé ñîñòîÿëñÿ â 2000ãîäó. Ñ 1991 ãîäà ôåñòèâàëü ñòàë ìåæäóíàðîäíûì.
 2015 ãîäó Åêàòåðèíáóðã ïðèíèìàë ãîñòåé èç ßïîíèè è Êèòàÿ,âñòðå÷àë ðîññèéñêèõ ìóçûêàíòîâ, îòêðûâàë íîâûå èìåíà èïðèâåòñòâîâàë ñòàðûõ äðóçåé.  ïðîãðàììàõ – îðèãèíàëüíûå äóýòûè òðàíñêðèïöèè ñèìôîíè÷åñêèõ ïðîèçâåäåíèé, èçâåñòíûå ñî÷èíåíèÿè ïðåìüåðû.  äâóõ ôåñòèâàëüíûõ âå÷åðàõ çâó÷àíèå ðîÿëÿïîääåðæàëè Óðàëüñêèé ìîëîäåæíûé ñèìôîíè÷åñêèé îðêåñòð èÑèìôîíè÷åñêèé õîð Ñâåðäëîâñêîé ôèëàðìîíèè.
Íîâøåñòâîì ôåñòèâàëÿ 2015 ãîäà ñòàëè «äóýòû-òðàíñôîðìåðû».Ñðåäè åãî ó÷àñòíèêîâ – òîëüêî äâà ïîñòîÿííûõ àíñàìáëÿ: ìîñêîâñêèé«LegeArtis» (Åëåíà Êóçíåöîâà è Èëüÿ ×óäíåöîâ) è Ôîðòåïèàííûé äóýòÑâåðäëîâñêîé ôèëàðìîíèè (Åëåíà Ýíäåáåðÿ è Âëàäèñëàâ ×åïèíîãà).Îñòàëüíûå ïèàíèñòû ôîðìèðîâàëè íîâûå àðòèñòè÷åñêèå ïàðûêàæäûé ôåñòèâàëüíûé äåíü.

INTERNATIONAL PIANO DUET FESTIVAL
15 years had passed, and the Philharmony welcomed back theInternational Piano Duet Festival, marking its seventh appearance on May27–30. It is a signature event for Ekaterinburg, which hosted theInternational Piano Duet Festival for the first time. From 1989 to 1997, thefestival was held every two years; it marked its sixth birthday in 2000. In1991, the festival was granted a status of an international event.
In 2015, Ekaterinburg welcomed guests from Japan and China, hostedRussian musicians, discovered new names and greeted its old friends.Vyacheslav Gryaznov is the author of most of the performed concertadaptations. Two piano performances took place with participation of theUral Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Symphonic Choir of the SverdlovskPhilharmony.
Duets-transformers became a novelty offered by the festival. Amongthe festival participants there were only two permanent ensembles; theother artists paired on each day of the festival.

The anniversary concert season deserved unprecedented opening! Fivemagnificent concerts showing the Philharmony in all its glory. The mainphilharmonic groups were represented by two orchestras and a choir; theaudience was introduced to stellar guests and new performers, academicand jazz music, modern opuses and masterpieces of classics, grand-scalesymphony and chamber programs.
The soiree dedicated to music of Leonid Desyatnikov, with participationof the composer, Olesya Petrova (mezzo-soprano), Igor Morozov (tenor),Mark Bushkov (violin), Tatiana Bondarenko (narrator), the Ensemble ofSoloists of the Symphonic Choir, and the Ural Philharmonic Orchestradirected by Andrey Boreyko.
The Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra and front-men of the contemporaryjazz pianism – Valeri Grohovski and Daniel Kramer, a twenty-year-longfriend and partner of the Sverdlovsk Philharmony.

In 2006, after a long interval lasting 16 (!)years, I was given an opportunity to make myfirst appearance in Russia, giving a concertat the Sverdlovsk Philharmony. I will always begrateful to it and to Alexander NikolayevichKolotursky who believed in me and invited togive a performance.

The Mini-Halls and RHYTHM projects intended for hearing-impairedchildren are implemented in cooperation with the Foundation of Russia’sFirst President Boris Yeltsin.

The Night in the Philharmony
À joint creative project of the Sverdlovsk Philharmony and the RegionalTelevision (OTV) that once a week throughout a year broadcasts the bestconcerts from the archive of the VCH. The project was launched in 2010.
The Culture Code
À new project of the VCH. It consists of a series of video interviews conductedby Sergey Litovskikh, the author of the program, with renowned musiciansand artists. The program is offered by the Regional Television along withonline broadcasting of concerts, under the project «The Night in thePhilharmony», and is available at the website of the Sverdlovsk Philharmony.Printed interview versions are published in the Urals’ Culture magazine.

THE VIRTUAL CONCERT HALLOF THE SVERDLOVSK PHILHARMONY (VCH)
An art and production complex broadcasting and recording concerts in aFullHD format primarily for the Philharmonic Assemblies – organizedaudiences represented by residents of the areas located far fromEkaterinburg.
Online broadcasting was organized in 36 municipal entities and 9 socialsecurity institutions in the Sverdlovsk Region.10 new Philharmonic Assemblies started operating in Artemovsky,Krasnoturinsk, Krasnouralsk, Verkhnyaya Sinyachikha, Staroutkinsk,Lesnoy, Ivdel, Troitskoye, Tavda, Turinskaya Sloboda, and even in Sudak(Crimea).À mini-hall was opened in Polyanka, a subdivision of the Ekaterinburgresidential home for mentally challenged children (town of Berezovsky).Opened a new audio recording studio. The installation work was doneby AcousticLab; the equipment is manufactured by Merging Technologies(Switzerland); the studio is one-of-a-kind in the region and meets thepresent-day world standards. The Pyramix electronic system andmicrophones of the leading brands are ideal for multichannel recordingof classical music.

The brochure «Our Tchaikovsky» is published for schools’ libraries. Thenumber of copies is 3000.
367 concerts combined with music and literature public lectures wereheld in 22 towns, including the special project for orphanage fosterlings;77 chamber concerts from the Musicale Program.
The project «Big Music for Little Hearts» implemented with supportfrom the Sinara Charitable Foundation.
The purpose of the project is to help children deprived of parentalcare in their social-psychological adaptation and harmoniousdevelopment.
2015 – 32 concerts in 8 orphanages of the Sverdlovsk Region.

11 êîíöåðòîâ äëÿ ñòóäåíòîâ âóçîâ ïî ñïåöèàëèçèðîâàííûìïðîãðàììàì: 5 – äëÿ ÓðÃÓÏÑ, 4 – äëÿ Ãóìàíèòàðíîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà,2 – äëÿ ÓðÃÀÓ. 3 êîíöåðòà òâîð÷åñêèõ êîëëåêòèâîâ ñòóäåíòîâ ÓðÔÓ –Äåíü ðîæäåíèÿ âóçà, Õîðîâîé ïðàçäíèê è êîíöåðò õîðîâîé ìóçûêè.
 ÷åñòü ïðàçäíîâàíèÿ 70-ëåòèÿ Ïîáåäû â Âåëèêîé Îòå÷åñò-âåííîé âîéíå áûëî ïðîâåäåíî îêîëî 200 ëèòåðàòóðíî-ìóçûêàëüíûõêîíöåðòîâ è ëèòåðàòóðíûõ âñòðå÷.
Ïî òðàäèöèè àðòèñòû ñëóæáû îáðàçîâàòåëüíûõ ïðîãðàìì âûñòó-ïèëè ñ áëàãîòâîðèòåëüíûìè êîíöåðòàìè â Ñâåðäëîâñêîì îáëàñòíîìêëèíè÷åñêîì ïñèõîíåâðîëîãè÷åñêîì ãîñïèòàëå âåòåðàíîâ âîéíè â îäíîé èç âîèíñêèõ ÷àñòåé Ñâåðäëîâñêîé îáëàñòè. REGIONAL PHILHARMONIC CLASS
The Virtual Concert Hall of the Sverdlovsk Philharmony has launched anew project, presenting video courses introducing junior and middle gradestudents of the Sverdlovsk Region’s general education schools to classicalmusic. One class lasts 40-45 minutes.
The project is aimed to facilitate the school education process byattracting children to competent and meaningful listening to classicalmusic, to help them grasp its genre diversity, to broaden their outlook andto generate interest in musical art.
The main advantages of «philharmonic classes» include theiraccessibility, visual features, esthetic appeal, high quality of the contents,enthralling presentation of the subject, effect of presence in a concerthall and getting a chance to peep into the backstage world.
A single edition is devoted to Tchaikovsky in the framework of theproject «Our Tchaikovsky».

The Regional Mobile Organ Hall
The grant from the governor of the SverdlovskRegion and support by the Ministry of Cultureof the Sverdlovsk Region gave a first-timeopportunity to many residents of the region tohear sounds of the pipe organ. Taras Baginetsgave a series of concerts, playing the Monarchdigital organ in Asbest, Kamensk-Uralsky,Zarechny, Revda, and Irbit. The instrument ismade by Johannus, a Dutch company; itconveys the authentic sound of the Barneveldpipe organ and is remarkable for its invariablypure sound.

The project started its life on March 9 with aconcert given by the Ural PhilharmonicOrchestra in Serov. The concert audienceincluded guests of Philharmonic Assemblies ofSerov, Krasnoturinsk, Gari, Karpinsk, Severo-uralsk, Novaya Lyalya, Kachkanar, Verkhoturie,and Sosva. The 4 th Forum of PhilharmonicAssemblies took place on July 12.

1 îêòÿáðÿ â Ñâåðäëîâñêîé ôèëàðìîíèè ñòàðòîâàëà áëàãîòâîðè-òåëüíàÿ àêöèÿ «Íà êèðïè÷èê». Åå öåëü – ñáîð ñðåäñòâ íà çàâåðøåíèåñòðîèòåëüñòâà ðåïåòèöèîííî-àðòèñòè÷åñêîãî êîðïóñà.
Ñòðåìèòåëüíî ðàçâèâàÿñü, îðãàíèçóÿ êðóïíûå ïðîåêòû è ñîçäà-âàÿ íîâûå êîëëåêòèâû, ôèëàðìîíèÿ èñ÷åðïàëà ðåñóðñû ñâîåãîñðàâíèòåëüíî íåáîëüøîãî çäàíèÿ. Ðåïåòèöèîííûå ïîìåùåíèÿ,àðòèñòè÷åñêèå è ìàñòåðñêèå ñòàëè íàñóùíîé ïîòðåáíîñòüþ.
Ñòðîèòåëüñòâî êîðïóñà áûëî íà÷àòî íåñêîëüêî ëåò íàçàä, îäíàêîñòðîéêó çàìîðîçèëè, è ïîñòðîåííîå îêàçàëîñü ïîä óãðîçîé ðàçðóøå-íèÿ. Ôèëàðìîíèÿ ïðèíÿëà áåñïðåöåäåíòíîå ðåøåíèå – âîçîáíîâèòüðàáîòû, âçÿâ ôèíàíñèðîâàíèå íà ñåáÿ. Ïðîåêò áûë ïåðåñìîòðåí,óïðîùåí è îöåíåí ñî ñíèæåíèåì ñóììû ôèíàíñèðîâàíèÿ.
Ïåðâûé øàã ñäåëàë êîëëåêòèâ ôèëàðìîíèè, ïîæåðòâîâàâ 653 049ðóáëåé. ×àñòü ñðåäñòâ óäàëîñü ñîáðàòü, îáðàòèâøèñü ê ïîìîùèáëàãîòâîðèòåëåé: 93 000 ðóáëåé. Âíåñëè ñâîé âêëàä ñëóøàòåëè:403 ÷åëîâåêà ïîæåðòâîâàëè 141 791 ðóáëü.
Àêöèÿ áóäåò ïðîäîëæåíà è â 2016 ãîäó.
CHARITABLE EVENT «JUST FOR A BRICK»
On October 1, the Sverdlovsk Philharmony launched a charitable event –Just for a Brick. It is aimed at raising funds for completion of theconstruction of the rehearsal and artistic building.
Growing at a fast pace, organizing large-scale projects and giving lifeto new music ensembles and orchestras, the Philharmony used up all thecapabilities of its relatively small building. The need for additional spacefor rehearsals, artists’ rooms and studios became critical.
The construction of the new building started a few years ago; however,it was soon suspended, and the completed parts of the building were atrisk of collapse. The Philharmony made an unprecedented decision toresume construction, taking responsibility for financing. The project wasrevised, simplified and reevaluated to decrease the amounf of financing.
The first step was made by the Philharmonic employees who donated653,049 rubles. 93,000 rubles were raised through philanthropists. Theaudience also made its contribution: 403 people donated 141,791 rubles.
The fundraising campaign will be continued in 2016.
THE NIGHT OF MUSEUMS PROJECT
By tradition, on the night May 16 and 17, the Sverdlovsk Philharmony tookpart in the project «The Night of Museums». The project included artdisplays, colorful wall paintings, bas-reliefs, renovated pipe organ andthe building, a heritage asset, which marked its 100th anniversary in 2015.To commemorate the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the exhibitionoffered special displays to its guests: posters and photographs of the warperiod, frontline brigade displays, the history of the first performance ofDmitri Shostakovich’s Leningrad Symphony at the SverdlovskPhilharmony. 18 tours were attended by 1,100 people, including massmedia representatives and diplomatic officials.

Ê þáèëåþ ïîáåäû â Âåëèêîé Îòå÷åñòâåííîéâîéíå ãîñòåé æäàëè îñîáåííûå ýêñïîíàòû: àôèøè è ôîòîãðàôèèâîåííûõ ëåò, ìîäåëè ôðîíòîâûõ áðèãàä, èñòîðèÿ ïåðâîãî èñïîëíåíèÿËåíèíãðàäñêîé ñèìôîíèè Ä. Øîñòàêîâè÷à â Ñâåðäëîâñêîéôèëàðìîíèè. 18 ýêñêóðñèé ïîñåòèëè 1100 ÷åëîâåê, ñðåäè íèõ –ïðåäñòàâèòåëè ïðåññû è ãðóïïà äèïëîìàòîâ.

Âàæíûì ýëåìåíòîì èíêëþçèè ñòàëè ýêñêóðñèè â Ñâåðäëîâñêóþôèëàðìîíèþ, íà êîòîðûõ ñëàáîñëûøàùèå äåòè ïîëó÷èëèâîçìîæíîñòü íàáëþäàòü ðÿäîì ñ ñîáîé ïðîöåññ ìóçèöèðîâàíèÿ,êàñàòüñÿ çâó÷àùèõ èíñòðóìåíòîâ, ïîäêðåïëÿÿ ñëóõîâûå îùóùåíèÿçðèòåëüíûìè è òàêòèëüíî-âèáðàöèîííûìè.
RHYTHM PROJECT
In February 2015, the Sverdlovsk Philharmony was the first in Russia totake part in musical education of deaf and hearing-impaired children. Itsparticipation is both technical and creative: It purchases special-purposeequipment and works on a cycle of video classes where music iscomplemented by verbal explanations, illustrations, captions andsimultaneous interpreting provided by sign language interpreters.
The long-term joint project spearheaded by the SverdlovskPhilharmony and the Echo Center for Psychological, Medical and SocialSupport was named «RHYTHM», an acronym for Russian words:Rehabilitation, Inclusion, Creative Work, and Music. The purpose of theproject is to create conditions for musical education of hearing-impairedchildren.
An important element of the inclusion was a series of tours to theSverdlovsk Philharmony, during which hearing-impaired children were ableto watch a music-making process, to touch music instruments, feelingtheir vibrations to support personal hearing and visual sensations.

THE VOLUNTEERS CENTER
The Center was founded in 1999. It is a resourceof charitable activities and one of the tools ofthe innovative management of the SverdlovskPhilharmony. The operation of the Center isgoverned by the Regulation on Voluntary Service(The Volunteers Center) of the Sverdlovsk StatePhilharmony, dated June 1, 1999.
In its work, the Center is focused on providingsupport to major projects of the Philharmony.180 volunteers took part in La Folle JourneeFestival in Ekaterinburg.

Âñþæèçíü îíà áûëà èñêðåííèì öåíèòåëåì ìóçûêèè ëåòîïèñöåì ôèëàðìîíè÷åñêèõ ñîáûòèé –ñîçäàòåëåì ýëåêòðîííîãî àðõèâà êîíöåðòîâ.
Êëþ÷åâîå íàïðàâëåíèå ðàáîòû Öåíòðà –ïîääåðæêà êðóïíûõ ïðîåêòîâ ôèëàðìîíèèíà âñåõ ýòàïàõ: ïîäãîòîâêà, ïðîäâèæåíèå,ïðîâåäåíèå. Òàê, â ôåñòèâàëå «Áåçóìíûå äíèâ Åêàòåðèíáóðãå» ó÷àñòâîâàëè 180 âîëîíòå-ðîâ. Áîëüøàÿ ÷àñòü – ñòóäåíòû.
50 ÷åëîâåê (ñòóäåíòû-ëèíãâèñòû è ïðîôåñ-ñèîíàëüíûå ïåðåâîä÷èêè) ïðèâëåêàþòñÿ äëÿðàáîòû ñ èíîñòðàííûìè ãîñòÿìè.
Öåíòð ñîçäàåò è âîïëîùàåò âîëîíòåðñêèåïðîãðàììû äëÿ ðåøåíèÿ çàäà÷ ðàçëè÷íûõïîäðàçäåëåíèé ôèëàðìîíèè: ìàðêåòèíãà,îðãàíèçàöèîííî-êîíöåðòíîé äåÿòåëüíîñòè,ìåäèàâåùàíèÿ, ðàáîòû ñ áëàãîòâîðèòåëÿìè.

EGIDA (AEGIS) GALLERYOF THE SVERDLOVSK PHILHARMONY
The gallery was opened in 2001 and is intendedfor those who come to listen to music in theconcert halls of the Philharmony. Regularexhibitions are held in the Grand and SmallFoyers. In 2015, the gallery hosted 17 personaland joint projects of artists of Ekaterinburg andthe Sverdlovsk Region.
In the scope of cooperation with the Statememorial musical open-air museum ofTchaikovsky, situated in Klin, in the SverdlovskPhilharmony there has been a presentation ofan exposition devoted to Tchaikovsky.
By the Tchaikovsky Music Day in theSverdlovsk Region, the gallery presentedpaintings from the private collection ofN.D. Kashkin – a music reviewer and a friend ofP.I. Tchaikovsky. The paintings were offered byKashkin’s descendants to be displayed in theSverdlovsk Philharmony.
