Some believe a presenter should make sure to include every word to be said in the slide itself, while others discipline themselves to place only the core concepts and key words in the presentation, using them as prompts, or ticklers, to expound upon when giving the presentation.

Bullet your key points. Provide details verbally. No more than 6 or 7 points per slide. Use “notes” for details.
