2. Message from Organizing Chairman, “Xitij 2013”, Gandhinagar Zone continuous zeal and passion throughout the event. It does not matter whether we win or lose we should always believe in one motto which is “Art for Art’s sake”. Any kind of art whether its performing, literary or fine arts it’s a mirror of your inner self because it express your thinking, your feelings and ultimately it reveals your personality. DTE has commenced a wonderful idea of “Saptdhara” which incorporates in it various kind of literary and cultural activities like Music, Dance, Theater and Fine Arts along with regular academic activities. Following this noble concept we regularly organize a talent week named as “Pratibha” every year during which the students can unfold their latent talent. So to take this chariot of art further we grabbed this opportunity to host GTU Youth Festival Xitij 2013 for Gandhinagar Zone. I hope that such festivals and events will compliment to the all-round development of students and they will excel in their fields with an appreciation towards aesthetics and beauty of life. During these two days the caliber of the students in various fields of art had totally amazed us. I appreciate their hard work and dedication and I am sure that they will reach the horizon of success that is “Xitij”. The complete details of the whole festival are provided here in this report so here I would like to conclude with best regards to all the contestant and would like to pass on my best wishes for their bright and prosperous future.
