2016 CSTEM Challenge Volunteer Training
All of the CSTEM Challenge teams are required to participate in the STEM Quiz Bowl to demonstratetheir knowledge of STEM facts they have learned through their participation in the program.Students have been preparing with a list of over 150 STEM facts covering all six of the challengecategories.
The students are competing in 1-8 challenge areas:•Robotics
•Civil Engineering
•Innovation
•Sculpture
•Mural
•Film
•Photography
•Computer Programming

Quiz Bowl Schedule
• Team will have 1-8 competition rounds. There will be additional round in the event there is a tiebreaker.
• There are up to six students per round
• The Quiz Bowl will be powered by a ProProfs App and students will take their quizzes on the iPADMini that is provided.

STEM Quiz Bowl Questions
The questions have been preloaded on iPAD Mini’s that will be
provided on the ProProfs platform. The students will have 2 minutes
and 30 seconds to take their quiz. The buzzer and MC will let the
students know when to begin and end their Quiz. Judges will also
be given stop watches in the event it is better to manage with them.
