Hello Parents
The first-grade team would like to inform you to do two sheets per subject per day. Please have child sit
for 20-30 minutes to complete 2 subject worksheets with a break in between each subject. In the
Packet is the March Reading Calendar, each day please have your child, read to you or someone for 30
minutes per day. If your child is at the beginning stages of reading. Have your child do flash cards, letter
blends, digraphs, or phonic videos. You Tube also has minute timers and you can type in 20 minute timer
and it will count down. Below are some suggestions for YouTube.

Draw: “Art for kids hub” or “How to Draw” and select an option
Exercise, movement, or Yoga: “Cosmic Yoga” , Movement songs for kids, or Exercise for kids
Dance and Singing: Kidz Bop

Science: Generation Genius or Dr. Binocs

How to Tie Your Shoes
First, make an “X” with the laces. Take the bottom lace and put it in the
space between the shoe and the middle of the “X.” Pull the
ends of both laces tight.
Next, make a loop with each lace. Make an “X” with both
loops. Take the bottom loop and put it in the space between
the shoe and the middle of the “X.” Pull both loops tight.
Last, do the steps again with the laces on your other shoe.
Pat yourself on the back. You tied your shoes!
It will take you a few times to get it right. Keep on practicing!
