Condition of the Registration:

1. The registration shall cease to be valid in case of expiry of the validityor suspension or cancellation of any of the existing consents underwater (Prevention & Control) of Pollution Act, 1974 and Air(Prevention & Control of Pollution Act, 1981 and Authorization underHazardous & Other Waste (Management & TransboundaryMovement) Rules, 2016 and as amended issued by the J&K StatePollution Control Board (PCB)/ Pollution Committee (Pcq, and shallremain invalid till consents(s) authorization are obtained.

2. The Recycler shall be responsible of the valid consents andauthorization also to the auctioneer/seller at the time of eachprocurement.

3. The Recycler shall be responsible to ensure that the quantity if thewaste(s) procured each time is endorsed in this Pass-Book by theauthorized seller / auctioneer. In case of import this endorsementshould be obtained from Customs Authorities.

4. The registered recycler shall ~n the records of above mentionedRecyclable wastes in For - is procured for recycling andsubmit the Annual Returns rd utilization of such wastes to theJ&K PCB/PCC as per ~azardous & Other Waste(Management & Trans Dun a ovement) Rules, 2016 by 31St

7. The change in the recy Ii hnology, disposal facility andequipment as given in the application shall only be carried out withprior permission of PCB.

8. Transportation, processing, treatment and disposal of wasted shall becarried out strictly as per the Guidelines on "Management & Handlingof Hazardous Wastes, 1991" issued by MOEF and in accordance withthe Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling and TransboundaryMovement) Rules, 2008.

·9. The Hazardous Wastes generated from the recycling process shall bedisposed off as per the Hazardous & Other Waste (Management &Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.

10. The unit should take appropriate and adequate measures to controlfugitive emission such that the Work Zone standards with respect tolead content in particulate and other parameters are met.

11. The stack emission and ambient air quality for lead content inparticulate should not be more than 10 mg/Nrn'' & 1.5g/m3respectively and the unit should carryout / Stack emission andAmbient Air Quality (AAQ) monitoring for lead in particulates, SPM,RSPM, S02, Nox and monitoring report should be submitted by theunit to the J&K PCB/PCC, as per the consent conditions.

12. Soil and ground water from within the industry promises should beanalysed for lead at least once a year through a laboratoryrecongnised under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 asamended, and the analysis results should be submitted by the unit toPCB.

13. Application (in triplicate) f al of registration shall be made wellin advance, at leasttwounonthS"'befere expiry, in Form 5 along witheach of the documen s as per-requ rement of Rule 8 (1) of Hazardous& Other Waste ( oundary Movement) Rules,2016.

14. At the time of pplication for renewal ofregistration, the uni y of the "Registration-cum-Pass-Book", alongw e quantity of product (s)manufactured, Proces rated, mode of final disposalduring the validity perio lstration, and a statement showingpoint wise compliance sta above conditions. This informationshould be supported with excise/Sales Tax details.

15. The registration may be cancelled or suspended by PCB as perprovisions of the Hazardous & Other Waste (Management &Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016, in case the recycler fails tocomply with any of the conditions of the registration or with any of theprovisions of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 as amended ofRules made there under.

16. In addition to above, PCB may stipulate further condition, if sorequired in the interest of environment protection.
