The data for this project were collected by Kotov under my supervision when he was a graduate student. Long story short, the paper was submitted and received an R&R decision, but it then languished until it was picked up by my now-former postdoc who is responding to the editor’s and reviewers’ comments and preparing it for re-submission. extraversion and its implications for psychopathology. Personality and Individual Differences. This is an invited paper for a Special Issue dedicated to Jan Strelau. *Papers that are products of a collaboration that has been ongoing for nearly 30 years. The data were collected for one or more randomized clinical trials funded by an NIMH grant to Jarrett and Thase. Vittengl is my former graduate student and he, Jarrett, and I meet virtually on a weekly basis to develop the conceptualization and data-analytic approach for the various manuscripts we have written together. Vittengl usually takes primary charge of the data analysis and initial writing, whereas both Jarrett and I are active in shaping both the ideas and written product and in shepherding it through to publication; Thase contributes in this way also.
