Introduction The fisheries sector in Mozambique is implementing a long term strategic
plan
The Consequence of that is changing a traditional technology of fishing to the modern
technology
Many social practices and traditional technology have been lost or transformed

The Portuguese colonial government settled many Portuguese in Mozambique

They introduced a first visible technological revolution on the fisheries activity
The ‘Fisheries Culture’ in Mozambique reflect this ‘culture meeting’
This communication tend to analyse how the ‘Fisheries Culture’ (memories and story)
