1. INTRODUCTION

This report cover the progress of the construction Works for Horizon Villa Project located in Sapanca Ilmiye village.

The construction activites started on site on 09.06.2014. The activities started are

• Mobilisation • Preparation of the site • Excavation and backfill Works • Natural Stone retaining walls.

As per the dicsussion and the approval of the employer, some of the villa levels are changed compare to its original level on the municipality drawings.

• A;B;C;D;E;N villas will be build as the project.

• F;L;M:L villas foundations will be raised and the raised parts will be filled with sands.

• F and G villas will be raised 2,00 meters.

• M villa will be raised 0,75 meters.

• L villa will be raised 1,50 meters.

• H;I;J;K villas will be raised and not filled with the sands instead the raised parts

• will be used as hobby rooms, storerooms or other useful areas.

• H villa will be raised 2,60 meters.

• I villa will be raised 3,35 meters.

• J villa will be raised 3,00 meters.

• K villa will be raised 2,25 meters.

2. ON GOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

2.1.   RETAINING  WALLS   The  construction  of  retaining  walls  have  been  commenced  at  the  bottom  road  which  borders  the   land.  At  this  side  the  retaining  walls   J1;J2;J3;J4;J5;J6;J7;J8  and  J9  have  been  completed  except    the  edges.  At  the  below  there  are  photos  of  related  to  these  works.

RETAINING WALL J1

After   completion   of   the   retaining   walls   J1-­‐J9,   the   retaining   walls   in   front   of   the   F   and   G  Blocks  have  been  commenced.   In   this   side   some  very  poor   soil   structure  has  detected.  To  take  measures  excavation  was  deepened,   filling  was  made  with   large   rocks  and  reinforced  concrete  foundation  was  build.  At  the  below  there  are  photos  of  related  to  these  works.

2.2.   EXCAVATION-­‐BACK  FILLING    

Excavation  works  are   spread   to   the  entire  worksite.  Working  with   two  excavators  and   ten  trucks  gained  momentum.  

Our  most   intensive   study  area   is  at   the  villas   located   in   the   top  of   the   land.   In   this   region  approximately  10.000  m3  were  excavated.    

At  the  below  there  are  photos  of  related  to  excavation.
