PREAMBLE

We the students of “Education” at the university for development studies acknowledging the necessity for us to have an establish constitution to regulate the affairs of EDUSA to secure for ourselves and posterity the blessings of liberty, equality of opportunity, ensure unity and cordial interpersonal relationship, promote the general welfare, academic and professional growth of all members in the association.

Inspired by the common determination to play a meaningful role in the uplift and development of education in our dear country Ghana

Cognizance of the need to form an effective system of governance based on the Students Representative Council (S R C) constitution, students’ handbook, the University statutes and the Constitution of the Republic of Ghana (1992).

In the spirit of solidarity and fraternity with all students of UDS and insolemn declaration and affirmation of our commitment to; Freedom, Justice,Probity and Accountability. The principle that all powers of Government spring from the sovereign will of the people (members): the protection andpreservation of Fundamental human rights and freedom, unity and stability;DO HERE BY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OUR SELVES THIS CONSTITUTION of Education Students Association of University for Development Studies on this day…………. In the year of our Lord.

ARTICLE 1

SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION

1.1 This constitution shall be the supreme Law governing this Association, which shall be known and called EDUCATION STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION (EDUSA).

1.2 Any other law that is not in agreement with the constitution isnot valid

1.3 Notwithstanding clause 1.1 of this Article, the laws and statement of EDUSA and the University for Development Studies is supreme.

ARTICLE 2

NAME, EMBLEM, MOTTO, SLOGAN AND POLICY

2.1 The body shall be known and called Education Students Association (here in referred to as EDUSA). Autonomy is hereby granted to individual members in respect of name and address

2.2 EDUSA – UDS Wa campus shall be non – political

2.3 Officers of the association duly elected shall constitute the committee (herein referred to as the EDUSA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE)

ARTICLE 3

ENFORCEMENT OF THE CONSTITUTION

i. A person who alleges that:-An enactment or anything contained in or done under the authority ofthis constitution or any other enactment; or any act or omission of any person is inconsistent with, or is in contravention of a provision of this constitution, shall bring an action to the judicial board for a declaration to that effect.

ii. The Judicial Board shall for the purpose of a declaration under clause (i) of this article, make such orders as Habeas Corpus, Certiorari, Mandamus, Prohibition and Quo warrant to give such

directions as it may consider appropriate for giving effect, or enabling effect to be given to a declaration so made.

iii. Any person or group of persons to whom an order or a directive is addressed under clause 3(ii) of this article by the Judicial Board, shall duly obey and carry out the terms of the order or the directives

iv. Failure to obey or carry out the terms of an order or directive madeor given under clause (ii) of this article constitute a very seriousviolation under this constitution and shall, in the case of any Executive Officer, constitute a ground for removal from office underthis constitution

v. A person convicted of the serious violation law under clause (iv) shall not be eligible for elections or for appointment to any officeof the association for two (2) years beginning from the date of the expiration or removal from office.

ARTICLE 4

OBJECTIVES AND AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION

1.1 To foster unity, promote cordial relationship among students and to improve upon student-lecturer relationship, student- non-teaching staff relationship.

4.1 To help organize incareer development in various educational fields

4.2 To encourage the youth’s interest in the study of educational courses through appropriate education such as seminars, lectures, colloquia and film shows, workshops and exchange programs and focusing them on the prospects of the course.

4.3 To impact on the community for the values of education to be acknowledged and appreciated better.

4.4 To promote and seek the general welfare of education students.4.5 To organize special tutorials, educational information

technology and related training programs andfield trips for members to abreast with current professional practice.

ARTICLE 5

5.1 MEMBERSHIPa. There shall be three (3) categories of membership: full,

Associate and honory membershipsb. All enrolled students of education department shall be full

members.c. Associate membership shall be open to all persons interested in

the aims and objectives of the association.d. Any person or group of persons who make positive contribution

to the association shall be accorded Honorary Membership statues.

5.2 RIGHTS, PRIVILEGES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Members shall be:

a. Obliged to obey the rules and regulations enshrined in this constitution.

b. Bounded by any decision taken by the association at its generaland executives committee meetings.

c. Obliged to pay association dues at the beginning of the first trimester of each academic year.

d. Obligated to pay any other dues/levies decided upon by the association executive committee and consented to by the membersfrom time to time.

e. Required to participate in association activities.f. Any member who wishes to use any property or facility of the

association (such as the Logo, letterheads) for academic and professional career shall write to the president for prior approval and determination of charges (dues payment).

ARTICLE 6

EXECUTIVE OFFICE, COMPOSITION AND FUNCTIONS

A. COMPOSITION OF OFFICERSThe members shall elect from among themselves the under listed executive who shall constitute the EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: there shall be:

a) President

b) Vice presidentc) Secretaryd) Financial secretarye) Treasurerf) Women’s commissionerg) Welfare officerh) Public Relation Officer (P.R.O)i) Organizer

B. FUNCTIONSThe executive committee shall:

1. Be the supreme authority in policy formulation and implementation2. Be responsible for providing essential services to the members.3. See to the welfare of members of the association4. See to the general main tenancy of EDUSA.5. Be the link between the members of the association and the

university administration.6. Draw up the budget of the association7. Hold at least two (2) meetings in a trimester to review plans for

activities of the EDUSA.8. Deposited copies of the approved budget with the EDUSA president,

Dean of student’s Affairs, Finance officer, and Internal Auditor of the university

9. Ensure that the budget is adhered to.10. Initiate and approve of new projects by the association for

execution.11. Approve activities of EDUSA which contribute to the spiritual,

moral, intellectual and professional development of the members of the association.

12. Offer proposals to theuniversity authorities on the needs of EDUSA.

13. Be responsible for the coordination and execution of policies of the association and serve as a link in matters relating to EDUSA... and other recognizedstudent associations in the university.

14. Represent the interest and views of the association in emergency cases where it shall not be possible for members of the association to meet and take decisions.

15. Discuss and approve all programs and budgets of the various committees/ commissions/ boards of the association.

16. Organize Annual EDUSA week celebration.17. Keep inventory of all EDUSA property; Issue executive

instrument in accordance with the provision of this constitution, concerning the activities of the association.

C. ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS AND POWERS OF:1. THE PRESIDENT

a. The executive head of EDUSAb. Preside over all meetings of the executive committee and the general

meetings.c. Be the official spokesperson of all education students and represent

them at the SRC meetings conveying views of members to meetings and reporting decision taken there to members within 48 hours.

d. Sermon all meetings’ through the secretary.e. Have the power to appoint officers to serve in committee under the

constitution.f. In consultation with the executive committee members have the

prerogative right to take decision(s) and later inform the entire members.

g. Delegate any executive member to represent him/her whenever necessary.

h. Have casting vote at all meetings.i. Interpreted standing orders during meetings.j. Be a signatory to current and savings accounts of the association.k. Prepare comprehensive handing over notes for the incoming president.l. Ensure that the treasurer keeps an imprest of equal amount as it is

operational in the main administration of the university.m. Keep an imprest which shall be determined by the finance committee.n. Ensure that the financial secretary/finance committee presents the

EDUSA’s account to the university internal auditor when requested todo so.

o. Ensure that all monies and properties received by or given out any individual officer or committee are properly accounted for.

2. THE VICE PRESIDENT

The vice president shall:

a. Perform all functions of this constitution in the absence of the president

b. Perform such functions as may be assigned to him/her by the president or the executive committee

c. Be the chairperson of the finance committee.d. Be the overseer of all other committee of the association but not

boards and commissions.e. Be accountable and responsible to the president.f. Keep inventory of all properties and declare all assets and

liabilities at the beginning and at the end of every trimester.

3. SECRETARY

The secretary shall be responsible for all correspondence, filing and keeping of all documents of the association and;

a. Recording the proceedings (minutes) of all meetings of the association

b. Be the secretary to the executive committee and the association. c. In consultation with the president summon both general and executive

committee meetings.d. Perform any such functions as the executive may assign him/her from

time to time.

4. FINANCIAL SECRETARY

The financial secretary shall;

a. Be responsible for the collection and recordings of all monies and shall issue receipts to cover all such monies collected

b. Keep the income and expenditure accounts of the association.

c. Submit all accounts books of the association to the audit board for auditing as and when required by this constitution.

d. Hand over all monies to the treasure within 24hours.e. Inform the members of the association of the financial position of

the association at all general meetings.f. Present an audited statement of account of the association to

members once every trimester. This statement shall be posted on all notices board at least Sven (7) days before such presentation.

g. Present the annual budget to members on behalf of the executive for approval

h. Be the secretary to the finance committee

5. TREASURER

The treasure shall;

a. Receive all monies due from the financial secretary and shall always issue receipts to cover any money received

b. Be a signatory to all accounts, bills and vouchersc. Deposit all amount given to him/her within 24 hours in the bank

6. THE WELFARE OFFICER

The welfare officer shall;

a. Be the chairman of the welfare committee and represent the association on the SRC welfare committee

b. See to the general welfare of the EDUSA’s members.

7. THE ORGANISING SECRETARY

The organizer shall

1. He is responsible for organizing and preparing the grounds for meetings, seminars, and programs of the association.

2. He shall arrange for the logistics needed for programs.3. He shall work hand-and-hand with the various committees

involved in the organization of program.4. He shall assist the secretary in his day to day

activities

8. THE PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER (PRO)

The PRO shall;

a. Be the liaison officer between the association and other outside bodies and individuals.

b. Vet and approve all articles, publications and notices to be posted on notice boards.

c. Perform such functions as shall be assigned him/her by the presidentor executive committee.

d. Assist the welfare and entertainment committee chairpersonin the performance of their duties.

e. Act as the secretary in the absence of the secretary.

9. WOMENS COMMISSIONER

1. There shall be a women’s commission, which shall be charged with;

A. Aiding female students in realizing themselves as an important resource so as to contribute to the advancement of education in society;B. Assisting in finding solutions to women’s related problems;C. Helping to prepare the female students for more responsible and responsive role in life after school,

D. Serving as a link between female students and other groups with the view of sharing ideas and strategies on issues concerning women in education.E. Inculcating in the female student a sense of inclusion, solidarity and active participation incampus activities.F. Helping to raise self esteem and self confidence of female students.G. Improving and strengthening communication and cooperation between the sexes.H. Creating a platform for rekindling the potentials of female students

2. Every female education student is a member of the women’s commission.

3. The women’s commission shall, at the beginning of eachtrimester, present proposals of activities and the expenditure involved to the EDUSAs general assembly for approval.

10. GENERAL ASSEMBLY

COMPOSITION

There shall be a General Assembly which shall consist of the following.

A. The executive committee established under this constitutionB. Be made up of all the various course reps from each level of

education department.C. Be made up of chairpersons of each committee, commission and board

appointed under this constitution.

The general assembly shall be dissolved by the outgoing speaker on the eveof the handing over to incoming executive officers. Also, no student shallhold office of the speaker, deputy speaker or clerk for more than two consecutive terms. The president shall be the speaker of the general assembly.

i. Maintain all provisions of this constitutionii. Presides over all meetings and shall also be a voting member of the

general assembly

iii. Maintain order in the house at all timeiv. Any other duty assigned to him by the general assembly

The General Assembly shall perform the following functions.

A. Be the highest decision making body of EDUSA and issues concerning education students shall be decided at the General Assembly

B. Appoint and or approve the appointment of committee membersC. Approve and help implement all decisions of commissions of EDUSA and

help in organizing all EDUSA programsD. Hold at least two (2) meetings in a trimester, and shall approve the

budget and plans for activities; review and evaluate the budget.E. Make sure that the executive committee prepare a comprehensive

handing-over notes and hand over all documents, equipments / tools and properties to their successors.

F. In all cases, officers and chairpersons of Committee, Commission andBoards shall properly account for all monies and properties receivedin their custody.

G. Whenever the office of the president or secretary is vacant by reason of resignation, removal or death of the incumbent, the General Assembly shall appoint an acting president or secretary.

H. Unless otherwise stated in any part of this constitution, the General Assembly shall have power to on its own initiative consider and make recommendations on any matter provided for under this constitution or affecting the welfare and interest of students.

I. When members of the General Assembly disagree on major decisions, the executive committee shall be empowered to refer the matter within 24 hours of the date of disagreement to the student body for final decision.

J. The General Assembly shall be duly constituted for its work by at least two thirds 2\3 of its membership.

11. PATRONa. The current Head Of Department shall be the patron of EDUSA or any

other person apart from a student chosen by the HOD.b. Shall act as an advisor and a counselor to the executive committee.

c. Shall assist the executive committee in handling matters above students’ status.

d. Shall in general be called upon by the executive committee to take up functions that fall within their capabilities.

e. Shall be the principal signitory to all EDUSA accounts.

12. ELECTIONS / APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVES

The following officers shall be appointed under the constitution by thepresident, subject to approval of general assembly. They are;

1. Vice president2. Electoral commissioner 3. Judicial board chairperson 4. Sports /Entertainment chairperson5. Audit board.6. Welfare officer

A. TERM OF OFFICE

All officers, unless otherwise stated: be it elected or appointed, shall be in office for a period not exceeding two years.

The outgoing executive should handover on the date fixed by the Electoral Commissioner which should not exceed fourteen days after the declaration of results.

B. QUALIFICATION

I. A student shall not be a candidate in any election unless he is nominated for election as president, secretary, treasurer etc. by a document which is;

a. Signed by him.

b. Signed by not less than five(5) students from the association.c. Delivered to the Electoral Commissioner on or before the date and

time fixed for the close of nominations in relation to the election.

II. A student shall not be qualified to be an officer if;a. He / she is a habitual drunkardb. He / she has been adjudged or otherwise declared to have

misappropriated funds or conducted him or herself in such a manneras to cause depreciation in respect of loss of otherwise in cash or property entrusted to him / her.

c. He / she have been found by any committee of enquiry to be incompetent to hold any office.

d. He / she has defrauded or misused or abused his office or willfully acted in a manner prejudicial to the interest and the findings have not been set aside on appeal or judicial reviews.

e. He / she have once been removed from any student office of the University. Without prejudice to any provision of this constitution.

III. A student shall qualify to stand and contest elections to any Executive Office, provided he /she are not a final year student.

IV. A student shall not be qualifying if his /her GPA is less than 2.50.V. A student shall not be qualifying if he /she have not stay in the

university for less than one academic year.VI. Final year students shall be defined to include all students who

shall receive degree / diploma or certificate awards at the end of the academic year in which elections are being held.

C. RULES AND REGULATIONS

i. The Electoral Commissioner shall by constitutional instrument make rules and regulations for the effective performance of its functionsunder this constitution. Such rules and regulations shall be annexedto the constitution.

ii. Officers shall be elected by members of the association under the supervision of the Electoral Commission.

iii. All officers, except the president, shall be duly elected by a simple majority.

The president shall emerge winner if he / she attain at least fifty percent plus one (50% + 1) of the total valid votes.

a. Where no winner emerges, there shall be a run-off election between the candidates who attained the two (2) high number of votes, withinseventy-two (72) hours, after the results have been declared.

b. Sole candidates for any office must attain at least sixty percent (60%) of the total number of valid votes cast. Failure to get this percentage shall necessitate fresh election within seventy-two (72) hours after the declaration of the results.

c. Voting shall be by secret ballot.

The Electoral Commission shall immediately after an election declare provisional results and unless or until such results are challenged, and shall declare the final results within seventy-two (72) hours after the election. Non-elected officers shall be appointed by the president in consultation with the Executive Committee with final approval by the numbers at a General Meeting.

D. CHALLENGESi. The validity of an election of an Executive Officer may be

challenged by any student of EDUSA who may present a petition for that purpose to the Judicial Board within forty-eight (48) hours after the declaration of the provisional results of the position in respect of which the petition is presented.

ii. The judicial board upon the receiving the request, shall examine, cross check and verify the names and signatories of the said group of students.

iii. The judicial board after seven days of verification shall, if satisfied with the names,signatories and evidence provided authorized the electoral commission to organize the vote of no confidence.

iv. The ‘Judicial Board’ shall without prejudice to any provision of this constitution decide on the validity of an election within seven

(7) days after the petition has been received by the chairperson of the association.

13. TERMINATION OF OFFICE

A. DESSOLUTION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND REMOVAL FROM OFFICE

B. VOTE OF NO-CONFIDENCE

i. A said group of students being the first group who are seeking further vote of no-confidence shall furnish the Executive Committee with the allegation in writing not less than three (3) clear days, and the said officers shall have the right to reply within forty-eight (48) hours before the emergency section for which it is conducted.

ii. Without prejudice to …………………. Of this article, the Executive Committee shall be removed from office on the passing of vote of No-confidence by at least two-thirds (2/3) of the members present at a special meeting called for such a purpose and voting.

iii. For the purpose of this clause, it shall be the duty of the president or his / her vice to convene such a special meeting for such purpose.

iv. The officers referred to in clause B (i) of this article shall have the right to attend any meeting convened for the purpose of passing such a vote of no-confidence.

C. IMPEACHMENT

Procedures for impeachment.

i. Any member shall by notice in writing addressed to the Chairperson of the ‘Judicial Board’, commence impeachment proceedings against anofficer, provided that the officer shall be served with a copy of

the notice three (3) clear days before the start of such proceedings.

ii. The chairperson of the ‘Judicial Board’ shall within five (5) days of receiving the notice of impeachment, convene a sitting of the ‘Judicial Board’ for a determination of the grounds for impeachment.The decision of the ‘Judicial Board’ shall be by a simple majority and shall be communicated to an emergency session of the executive called for that purpose by the Secretary of the Executive Committee.

iii. The members shall debate and therefore vote on the issue. For impeachment purpose, the vote of at least sixty (60%) per cent of the memberand voting for or against shall be conceived.

iv. The Secretary so appointed to record minutes of such a meeting shallwithin twenty-four (24) hours after the said meeting, notify the chairperson of the ‘Judicial Board’ and Executive Committee of the outcome of the vote.

v. For the purpose of this Article, a non-member of the Executive Committee or member shall chair the emergency session of the said meeting without prejudice to any other provision of this constitution.

vi. Any officer so impeached shall forthwith cease to be a member of theExecutive committee of the association.

A. VACANCY OF OFFICE

An office shall be considered vacant if any officer is;

i. Transferred from or leaves the University or a vote of no-confidenceis posed in him / her.

ii. Vacates his / her post for twenty-eight (28) days without official notice.

iii. Resigns from office, dies or is incapable by ill-health from performing his / her functions.

iv. In the event of any of (i), (ii) and (iii) under this article happening bye-elections shall be held appointment shall be made to fill the vacant office.

v. In the event if officers resigning en-block, the executive shall appoint a five (5) member Interim Management Committee (IMC) to steer the affairs until bye-elections are held.

vi. Any officer of the committee who resigns shall properly handover allmonies and properties before he/she is considered free.

vii. In the event of an office becoming vacant, a bye-election or appointment shall be held or made within twenty-one (21) days of thedeclaration of such vacancy, except circumstances otherwise.

REMOVAL FROM OFFICE

Clauses of this article may warrant impeachment.

E. VIOLATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL PROVISION

An officer shall be removed from office in accordance with the provision of this constitution if he/she is found;

i. To have acted in violation of oaths of office or the constitution ofEDUSA.

ii. To have conducted himself/herself in a manner, which brings or is likely to bring any office of the association into disrepute, ridicule or contempt, or;

iii. Which is prejudicial or inimical to the interest of EDUSA;iv. To have embezzled funds or recklessly handled finances of EDUSA

F. INEFFICIENCY / NEGLIGENCE

An officer shall be removed from office in accordance with the provision of this constitution if he/she is found to be inefficient or negligence inthe discharge of his/her duties.

G. INCAPABILITY

An officer shall be removed from officeof not performing the functions of his or her office (duties) by reason of infirmity of body or mind.

14. EDUSA’S FINANCE

A. SOURCES

Sources of funding of the association shall be;

i. Dues or levies paid by membersii. Gains accruing from any form of entertainment organized by the

association or any committee within the association.iii. Proceeds accruing from sales of souvenirs and other itemsiv. Proceeds accruing from appeal for funds and sponsorshipsv. Proceeds from week celebration

vi. Sales of EDUSA constitutionvii. A development levy to be paid by members as shall be decoded by the

Executive Committee and approved by the General Assembly of the association.

A. CUSTODYi. The Executive Committee shall open a current and (or)

Savings/Deposits Accounts with a Bank accessible to the association.ii. The President, Treasurer and the Financial Secretary shall be

signatories to all the association accounts.iii. The President and anyone of the other signatories shall have the

right to sign to withdraw money from the bank for purpose so decidediv. No loan shall be contracted on behalf of the association by any

Executive member or member of the associationv. Any withdrawal exceeding forty (40%) per cent of the total amount In

the bank shall first be discussed at a general meeting

vi. The Transitional Team shall ensure a change of signatories to the accounts before handing over to the in-coming Executive.

15. PROTECTION OF MEMBERS AND EXECUTIVES

A. PROTECTION OF MEMBERS

i. The association shall offer protection to members when their rights are being infringed upon from within and out of campus

ii. The association shall offer every possible assistance to any member who is involved in any unpleasant situation while performing duties assigned to him by the association

A. PROTECTION OF EDUSA EXECUTIVES

The EDUSA members as far as possible, legally, shall protect and defend the Executives all the time against actions of the said Officers/Executives are judged to be in conformity with the letter and spirit of this constitution.

16. INAUGRATION OF EDUSA EXECUTIVES AND OTHER OFFICIES

The patron, any accredited representative and the Judicial Board Chairperson shall administer the oath of office to the elected members at a meeting called for that purpose.

MEETINGS

There shall be at least two (2) General Meetings; at the beginning and theending of each teaching trimester. The Executive committee shall call for an extra-ordinary meeting as and when necessary.

One third (1/3) of members including the speaker shall constitute a quorumfor both general and extra-ordinary meetings. For an Executive Committee meeting, it shall be two thirds (2/3) of the members.

At General and extra-ordinary meetings, decision shall be carried by a simple majority of members present and voting.

EXECUTIVE MEETING

1. All members of the Executive Committee shall be present.2. Any member(s) wishing to be absent himself must give urgent reason

in writing to the President or Vice President at least twenty-four (24) hours before the time of the meeting.

3. The quorum for all general or special meeting shall constitute members.

17. STANDING ORDERS

CONDUCT OF MEETING

a. Every meeting shall begin and ends with a prayer.b. The President shall chair all meetings and shall maintain order at

such meetings and he/she shall exercise the prerogative to rule out of order all matter irrelevant to the issue before the house.

c. A member shall rise to speak only when asked to do so by the President.

d. A speaker shall direct his/her speech to the issue under discussion.Every member shall address him/herself solely to the Chair.

e. No member shall be allowed to speak more than once on a motion, as long as members who have not spoken on the motion derive the floor. No member shall speak for longer than ten (10) minutes at a time without permission from the Chair.

f. The Chairperson shall interpret the standing order. He shall be freeto take part in all discussions.

18. ADOPTATION AND AMENDMENT OF THE CONSTITUTION

A. ADOPTION

i. This constitution shall be adopted at a referendum of EDUSA’S general meeting organized by the respective Electoral Commission of the association.

ii. Subject to (i) this constitution shall become operative after its endorsement by the Patron and the Dean of Students Affairs.

B. AMENDMENTS

This constitution is subject to amendments or review. Any forty (40) members of EDUSA can call for amendment of this constitution in part or inwhole by submitting such notice to the chairperson of the ‘Judicial Board’one clear month before a general meeting, where the proposals for the amendment shall be deliberated upon.

The P.R.O. shall put notice on all boards as shall be directed by the ‘Judicial Secretary’, at least two (2) weeks before the General meeting.

An amendment proposal shall be accepted if it gains two-thirds (2/3) support of the members present at the meeting and voting.

AMENDMENT / REVISION

1. The constitution of EDUSA shall made provisionfor amendment by the decision of at least two-thirds (2/3) majority of members personallypresent and voting at a special general meeting convened for that purpose.

2. The constitution of EDUSA shall be reviewed in full by a Constitution Review Committee set up by the Judicial Committee in consultation with the Executive every five (5) years to collate views of members.

3. Such reviewed constitution shall be accepted by at least two-thirds (2/3) majority of members of EDUSA personally present at a special general meeting convened for that purpose.

ARTICLE 16

1. MISCELLANEOUS

a. The executives shall hold office for one academic year and shallhandover to the incoming members of EDUSA at most twenty-eight (28) daysafter declaration of election.

b. The Executive shall orientate fresh men and women that are members of EDUSA within three (3) weeks of the beginning of each academic year.

All out-going members of the Executive Committee shall duly hand over any inventory of all items taken over and or acquired during their tenure of office to their respective successors a week before the handing over ceremony.

a. The New Executives assuming office shall appeal up headway for the academic year within two (2) weeks on assumption of office.

b. The new executives shall publish an inventory of all items taken over from the out-going executives at least three (3) days before the handing over ceremony.

c. The executives shall provide every freshman and woman with a copy ofthe EDUSA constitution at the expense of the freshmen/women on arrival.
