JOB AND FUNCTION
The Directorate General of Intellectual Property under the Ministryof Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia has the taskof carrying out the formulation, implementation of policies in thefield of Intellectual Property and functions as an organization thatprovides guidance, legal protection, law enforcement and disputeresolution, monitoring and evaluation, especially in the field ofIntellectual Property in Indonesia.
In terms of law enforcement and dispute resolution, the DirectorateGeneral of Intellectual Property has a Directorate of Investigationand Dispute Resolution.
DIRECTORATE OF INVESTIGATION AND SETTLEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DISPUTES
In carrying out its duties and functions, this Directorate plays a role in technical guidance for prevention, investigation, settlement of disputes over suspected criminal acts in the field of intellectual property including trademarks, patents, copyrights, industrial designs, layout of integrated circuits, trade secrets and plant varieties.
