Modern Collection uses only the latest European design elements with products available in all wood or with glass inserts. The frosted glass accents vary in size and shape ranging from curved or straight thin lines to very large panes that take up most of the door with only minimal wood on the sides for attaching hinges and handles. The glass is always a thick laminate which provides part of the structure for many doors such as our 300 model doors where it runs all the way from top to bottom of the door with no other supporting structure.
The Modern Collection has doors with horizontal and vertical veneer grain. Other accents include silver metallic lines to emphasize the vertical or horizontal presence of the doors and add to the elegance of your exclusive interior.
All Modern Collection doors are available with durable jambs and casings in an elegantly simple shape. Frames, casing and other trim is usually done in a matching finish to the doors but contrasting finishes are available for a more dramatic look. Wood The wooden doors are made with the highest quality hardwood veneer over an engineered soft wood core that will last for many years. Engineered cores are made from strips of solid wood with the grains running in various directions, so even if the door gets extremely wet, it will never warp or twist.
Glass The glass used in Milano Doors is an 8mm (approximately 1/3”) thick laminated safety glass. Vitrum models are available in 12mm thickness as well (1/2”). The most popular glass is a milky white color that provides complete privacy. Clear glass is also available as well as black glass and mirror which do not let any light to pass through.
ConfigurationsMilano Doors come from the factory as blank door slab which means they can be used in a variety of configurations. We can pre-hang them into single swing units, or a knock- down double prehung door. They can also be used for pocket, bypass, barn or any other location where a blank slab can be adapted. Some doors may not work with all types of hardware.

Our exterior doors are made with high quality stainless steel or galvanized steel with tough powder coat paint for protection. All models are produced by special technology that allow a long service life and completely preserve the superior performance and aesthetic charac- teristics of the doors. Our exterior doors have very high thermal and sound insulation pro- perties. The door panels are decorated with rectangular frosted glass inserts of di!erent sizes. These decorative elements look fragile but in fact they are comparable to a stainless steel sheet in strength. The laminate glass provides excellent safety features and a calming soft glow when there is light behind it.
The Exterior Doors Collection products are available in di!erent configurations, but a popular feature available on all of them is the long bar handles. These handles are metal tubes firmly attached to the top and bottom of the door to accentuate the massive presence of the doors.
There are many color choices available but the most popular is the silver metallic and dark chocolate brown that matches well with our interior door selection. Each model is com- plemented by a high-strength all metal door frame in a matching finish. MaterialsAll of the structural frame work of the closet systems is made from anodized aluminum profiles. These parts include top and bottom tracks, the frames of each door as well as the panel dividers. They are available in several colors to suit any design. The insert panels are available in either glass or wood. Glass can be ordered in many color but the most popular is the milky white and black finishes. One of the main features is a tilt and turn mechanism which greatly increases the functionality and ease of use of the product. Although a rarity for the U.S., it is currently considered to be the most durable and conve- nient to use in Europe.
Milano Doors Wooden Windows are quality products made from oak, fir, pine, larch, and red- wood. Triple-pane glazing is able to provide the level of heat and sound insulation not available from other manufacturers. The windows are available in standard and custom shapes such as arches, trapezoids, and other geometric shapes. The tilt and turn mechanism also provides superior security with the ability to tilt the window slightly allowing for airflow circulation but doesn’t allow full access into the home.
Wooden windows are made to order only. Lead time is approximately 10"14 weeks. After all the necessary measurements are done a sketch of the finished products is provided for final approval. Although the price of wood windows is slightly higher than for the vinyl variety, the products made from solid wood cannot be matched in quality, environmental friend- liness or elegant appearance.
