email: [email protected] Fax: (01775) 640600

Placing Your Order: Most of our plants are grown to order so please order as early as possible and normally we

require a minimum of 8 weeks lead time unless ordering off the spares list. Please complete our order form (available on

request if you don’t have one!) with the number of trays required of each variety and your preferred delivery week and

‘Quality plugs at the right price when you need them’

Welcome to

K E Y T O S Y M B O L SC O N T E N T S

Welcome to our latest brochure, coming after a roller-coaster year of challenges and opportunities. Over this period, we

have seen an influx of people engaging with their gardens for the first time and now have the challenge of nurturing that

interest to keep gardening as part of the new normal.

Our range of plants offers a mixture of traditional, reliable lines along with new introductions to be able to keep offering

you the latest, exciting varieties.

Salvias have continued to grow in popularity and are rapidly establishing themselves as a ‘must have’ line for most

nurseries. With conservation and ‘bee’ awareness at the forefront of environmental discussions, wildflowers are in strong

demand. Our wildflower plugs are ideal for creating your own selections in 9c pots or as mixed packs or collections to

give your customer their own mini meadow in their garden. Along with our ranges of Herbaceous perennials, ornamental

grasses, herbs, penstemons and Victorian violas there is plenty to choose from.

High quality, competitive prices, and the security of avoiding import regulations and costs, means you can order from us

with confidence.

2 3

The demand for Salvias is showing no signs of easing up and

many nurseries now have Salvias as main displays during the

summer sales period.

We are able to offer you a range of over 75 varieties,

covering several different species, giving you something

for everyone! Our larger leaf ‘gauranitica’ types are more

suited to larger pot production whilst microphylla, greggii

and hybrid types are more compact and hardy and give you

a rainbow of colours to choose from.

Salvias are easy to grow, respond well to PGR in warmer

weather to give you a more compact plant and will flower

5- 6 weeks from potting or 4 weeks from the last pinch.

With so much media interest currently in conservation and

bees, wildflowers are now emerging from being niche to a

mainstream crop.

We offer our Wildflowers in a 30 mm plug so that you can

put together your own range for your customers in either

pots, packs, or mixed containers. Our plugs are available

for delivery in either spring or autumn as this is when they

do best, avoiding the main heat of summer when they grow

rapidly and prefer to flower, making shelf life short.

So why not give them a go and get your customers ‘buzzing’!
