REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT / Enclosed Condensing Units / CU-C Series

Our ENCLOSED CONDENSING UNITS have been designed for commercial and industrial applications, from low to high temperature and with a wide range of powers from 7.5CV to 50CV. This range covers most refrigeration applications, offering a high performance, reliable and flexible product.

Semi-Hermetic Compressor- Copeland Stream or Bitzer, including crankcase heater and vibration dampers.

Liquid reservoir, oil separator and interchangable core filter drier

High and low pressure switches.

Aluminium microchannel condenser coils- Maxwell’s air-cooled condensers only use aluminium microchannel heat exchangers, offering up to 45% performance over fin&tube conventional coils and saving by 30% of refrigerant volume in the system.- Air section and components section are independent.

Electronic EC Fans as standard - At Maxwell’s we are concerned about energy saving so we have adopted the use of high-efficiency axial ED fans as standard on all our CU-C range.

Our BLAST CHILLERS reduce the temperature of freshly cooked food to a range between 0°C and 4°C with high energy efficiency thanks to thermal insulation by means of a 100 mm thick cooling panel.

Lowering the temperature of freshly cooked foods to a range between 0°C and 4°C over a period of less than 90 minutes.

Loading capacity between 2 and 10 trolleys (depending on the size of the trolleys).

Energy efficiency thanks to the thermal insulation by means of a 100 mm thick refrigeration panel with hermetic doors and electronic fans with variable speed.

FREEZING CELL / For Pallets

The Maxwell FREEZING CELL FOR PALLETS is designed for pallets of products (such as meat or fish) contained in stacked plastic crates. Its high pressure cold air ventilation system ensures that 100% of the air passes between and through the plastic boxes without any deviation, by means of fans that work with pressures up to 1000 PA and to a sealing system by silicone seals between the evaporator and the pallet.

The machine consists of :

What is it for?This equipement quickly reduces the core temperature of fresh produce, prolonging shelf life and preserving taste and appearance as well as reducing the cold rooms load and cooling time.

How does it work?The system consists of a submerged stainless steel heat exchanger in a food grade thermally insulated water tank. ULTRA-FAST chILLING

Maxwell Thermomachines© has developed a PALLET IMMERSION HYDROCOOLER. Its principle of operation is to immerse, for a short period of time, pallets of fruit or vegetables in water between 0 º C and 1 º C getting a shorter cooling time than with a shower system and allowing to treat the product with antioxidants, additives or even ozone. The system can treat approximately 8,000kg/h of product, with a load of 2 pallets, or about 8 cycles per hour.

What is it for? Maxwell Hydrocoolers quickly reduce the core tem-perature of fresh produce, prolonging shelf life and preserving taste and appearance.

How does it work? The system consists of an underground water tank with a submerged stainless steel heat exchanger and a lifting system that submerges the product in the wa-ter allowing faster cooling than with the shower sys-tem and allowing the addition of sealants that greatly avoid the subsequent loss of weight in long shipments of merchandise.

Maxwell CHILLED WATER TANKS are the ideal solution for general large quantities of cold water suitable for food processing, ideal for discharge at peak times even without the need of powerful refrigeration equipement thanks to the ice storage capacity.

Available in two different versions depending on the refrigeration unit you wish to connect:

1- Simple version with flanges to connect to a conventional low temperature remote chiller.2- With integrated secondary fluid heat exchanger version and electronic expansion valve to connect to a condensing unit or compressor rack.

- Food grade fiberglass reinforced poliester tank, thermally insulated and with capacity of 3500L- Manual valve for draining and cleaning the tank. - AISI 316 stainless steel float valve for tank water feed control (the size can be adjusted for your water flow require ments).- Integrated process water feeding pump (the size can be calculated to meet your water flow requirements).- Submerged AISI 316 stainless steel plate heat exchanger.- Powder coated galvanized steel and AISI316 stainless steel structure.- Air forced water agitation system in the tank increases convenction and improves heat exchange.- Capacity of ice accumulation in the exchanger guaranteeing a water temperature in the tank close to 0°C.- Integrated electrical panel including ice thickness controller and sensor.- Coolong capacity: from 67 to 290 kW.

Our BRINE IMMERSION FREEZING TANK is the solution for fasta and uniform freezing of any kind of product wich can be submerged into a liquid refrigerant medium. Can be used for mul-tiple applications such as fish and seafood freezing directly submerged in salted water solution, any kind of vacuum sealed products or even ice blocks manufacturing.

What is it for?This equipment is suitable for freezing by immersion in brine at low temperature (either sodium chloride solution, calcium chloride, glycol, and more.)Due to its flexibility it covers a wide range of sectors such as freezing of sea products (prawns, shrimps, tuna, etc..), freezing of fruits, manufacturing bars of ice blocks...The type of brine solution, temperatures and immer-sion system (baskets, trays, moulds...) can be adapted to the customer’s needs.
