Using Linux In School

From my opinion Linux must be used in school for educational purposes instead of windows because Linux gives you the opportunity to discover it and understand it as well as its an open source system.

My opinion on using Linux in school

- Free: First of all most of Linux systems are free which makes students save money instead of buying a system which would cost them about 500DH like windows 7.

Second reason is that Linux is an open source system which gives the students an opportunity to discover the sources and learn on an open source system

Students shall no more care about buying an antivirus to protect their laptops, because linux is an open source and doesn't have a Anti-Virus so it will save money and teach students to protect their systems themselves.

Linux have many types of operating systems from different types and suit all levels, like ubuntu, Kubuntu and more!

Linux operating system runs on almost any platform due to its light-weight and its powerful so it can also run on old computers in a good performance

Linux gets updated quickly and has less viruses due to being an open source operating system which can get more people to help the operating system and figure out bugs with you world wide and internationally.

3 reasons; schools does not use Linux

Many main applications & devices that school uses does not support linux. Like Photoshop, adobe player & more

Colleges and works does not support or use linux so if students are learning on Linux and then they will not use it.
