OPTIMUS NEWS

Optimus Energy has just completed it’s latest CSR project in the Philippines. We proudly donated & installed a 2kW Zeversolar grid connected solar kit to Sto Nino School Tanauan Leyte. Tanauan was one of the hardest hit areas from Typhoon Yolanda in November 2013.

The school was completely devastated with 80 of 500 students perishing during the storm surge. Intel completely rebuilt the school & equipped the school with computers for the first time. Tanauan is an extremely poor area that was already struggling with power costs, Intel was worried that the school would be scared to use the computers & asked Optimus Energy to help & we are extremely happy to be part of this project.

The little that is left of the old school 10 new classrooms built by Intel with evacuation points on the roof of each building for the community.
