Bauer Media Group is a large media company, based in Hamburg(Germany), that manages more than 600 magazines and 50 radio/TV stations in 17 different countries.Bauer has been managed by five generations of the Bauer family. Originally a small printing house in Germany, Bauer Media Group entered the UK with the launch of Bella magazine in 1987. Under the name of H Bauer Publishing they became Britain's third largest publisher.Bauer Publishing is a conglomerate and therefore owns lost of different business’. Examples of what Bauer own are; Heat and Grazia as well as a radio stations such as KISS FM and Magic.

monthly in the United Kingdom. Originally it was to be called Cue (named after the act of cueing a record to play). However the name was changed so that it wouldn't be mistaken for a snooker magazine. The Q music brand has expanded to Radio and Television, with Q Radio and Q TV being music entertainment that specializes in indie, rock and alternative.

Kerrang! is a brand that specializes in Rock Music. It originally began as a magazine and in 2004 Kerrang Radio was launched. A Kerrang TV channel also exists. As of 2005 all of Kerrang TV's programme content is music videos the majority of which is open scheduled for text requests from their playlist. Popular bands/artists that usually feature in this magazine are: Greenday, Bring me the horizon, Paramore, my chemical romance and Slipknot.

Immediate Media is an award-winning special interest company. They are one of the biggest consumer media businesses in the UK and one of the largest magazine media publishers. They publish over 34 magazine titles and have over 50 websites.They sell 74 million magazines every year, with well over 1 million active subscribers, and reach 33 million people online every month.The magazines they sell follow the same kind of theme of hobbies and are aimed at people who are enthusiastic and have special interests. Their magazines “simply knitting” and “simply crochet” are clearly aimed at an older audience, typically old women, who have an interest in sewing and knitting and would buy these magazines to learn more about it. Some of their magazines focus on outdoor activities like “cycling plus” and “Outdoor magic” these will attract an audience that love being outdoors and have a sense for adventure.

The content brings readers closer to their heroes with exclusive interviews, brilliant facts and stats, the latest transfer gossip and results, quality posters, tough quizzes, mega prizes, and funny jokes and cartoons.
