Purpose of the Competition
• We’re organising a competition to stimulate collaboration between public services, entrepreneurs and communities to develop innovative ways of using technology to improve their neighbourhoods
Phases of the Competition
People will be able to submit and rate ideas online on how technology could help improve their neighbourhoods
16 September-16 October
Groups will discuss and refine the highest rated ideas at “ideas workshops”
17 October-24 October
Digital entrepreneurs will be able to submit and rate prototypes they want to develop that build on the top ideas on specific challenges (open data/CRM/etc)
25 October-24 November
Digital entrepreneurs will develop their prototypes at a “hackday” with others to try and win the competition
25 November

from your organisation to be a judge for the competition• You would be able to define the Challenge you wanted to
sponsor or you could choose to sponsor our existing challenges (“Making use of open data” & “Reporting issues”)We would add your logo and organisation details in print and online literature of the event as well as in announcements on the day
