concept of the design process was to take the users on a journey through bentley,showing the stages of progress of the brand. The design has the display of bentley cars on all the stages of development,from the evloutionof bentley untill the present day cars of bentley

the glass facade displays the bentley cars and can be seen from the outside. The facade is oriented in a way to cut off the sunlight so that the tempreture in the interior parts are maintained.

The Chennai corporation has provided the kuppam people with 2 toilets which are not used

due to improper maintainance

the kuppam people prefer

DESIGN FEATURES INCORPORATED FOR THE SLUMS

More open space around the rest rooms as it facilitates more interactions between the people . Effective use of the toilets is possible only if the community people are active in the space.

Thus by incorpotating the activies in their daily life the space canbe made lively.

the design features include

6 induvidual cubicles(as they preffered seperate toilets) and 4 bathing units for each gender

washing clothes by the women

the people said that they lacked a space for daily activitieslike washing clothes and vessels and they set up temporary stuctures to spend leisure time

creating positive vibrations to the users. Walking spaces have been provided naturally along the design within each block . The library space which is the focal point of thisblock has semi open spaces .

The main purpose of this project is to create a place that elderly want to live in- a dynamic, highly functioning community for people to age in and one that provides activity, interest, excitementand connection to each

other and the community.

Program integration will allow for an environment that promotes health and wellness in smooth transitions between levels of care as residents

the idea of the design process was to bond the elderly within the broader context of community rather than focusing on either gated retirement communities or nursing home facilities

this space in every way invloves the elderly to the society. The open spaces created by the blocks have recreational activities happening

because the project is a residential less of heavy load equipments are present, and hence the heavy load equipments are equally distrubuted in all the three faces tp prevent trip off of the circuit.


the switch boxes are easily accessible and are placed close to reach,for comfort of the client.

the rooms in the house are connected to emergency lights,these emergency lights are connected to a different phase, which allows light workability at all conditions.

due to the presence of many lights, a single switch is used to operate many lights in a particular area to increase comfort.


In the site the lights have been used along the pool side and garden, the switches for the garden lights are in the pool room where all the lighting systems for the outside are placed.

In the lighting syestem more of ceiling lights and walll brackets are used, due to the purpose of aesthetics,less tubes have been used.
