Most designers are thinking how they can improve Photoshop skills to CREATE A BETTER LOGO, but unfortunately, is it not the best solution. Here’s why:



1.) Logo creation should be done through Adobe Illustrator, not Photoshop.

In illustrator, there are certain functions and tools that is perfect in creating a logo image, like for example in eliminating pixelated edges. You should create logos in vector-based programs.



2.) Use Photoshop to enhance the logo.

Once the logo is created, you can then edit and enhance it through Photoshop toolbars.



ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Photoshop is for image enhancement. Use it to modify images and add effects to make pictures looks better.
