+Conventions

Muzik magazine is quite a varied magazine, that only has a few conventions. This is because every magazine is based on the featuring artist, so the conventions are usually based on the simpler things, like the title.

+Influences

Muzik magazine is influenced by dance music, the artists involved get a unique cover and the colours and shapes represent the different kinds of rhythems and sounds heared in their music

Some of the artists that have been involved in the design proccess include the Chemical Brothers, Moby, Eminem, Justin Timberlake and Radiohead

+House Style

MUZIK is a dance music magazine with a very retro house style, the colours used are very bold and luminous and are mostly made up of yellow, blue and pink.

Although the colours seem to be similar throughout the whole magazine, in each issue, the front cover is themed on the artist who features on it. The colours and shapes used are ones that suit and describe the genre and style of the artist or musician on the cover, but most of the artists who feature, play pop or hip hop.
