That original vision is still the basis for all we do today at McDugald-Steele. The firm has grown from a small partnership to a thriving business with more than 100 landscape professionals, offices in Houston and Austin, and projects throughout Texas and the Southwestern U.S.

PROCESS PHASE I

CONCEPT DESIGN &PRELIMINARY BUDGET ANALYSIS

We begin each project by reviewing your specific program requirements followed by an initial site inventory and analysis. This information establishes the foundation for us to begin the conceptual design of your garden.

Our staff creates illustrative drawings, sketches and models that communicate our design concepts for your review. Once the concepts are refined and receive your approval, we prepare and present a detailed preliminary budget for all anticipated costs to construct your garden.

Page 33: Mc dugald steele-capabilities2012

PROCESS PHASE II

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT DRAWINGS & CONSTRUCTION

The conceptual designs are converted into detailed development documents and specifications that enable us to procure competitive bids and ultimately contract, permit and build your garden.

We supervise, coordinate and oversee all subcontractors and in-house personnel assigned to complete the construction of your garden. Our contract administration service provides thorough accounting of all project expenses and payments along with managing the related insurance requirements

PROCESS PHASE III

MANAGING

Your landscape is one of our living creations. Upon completion of each landscape installation, we recommend one of our maintenance programs to protect and nurture your landscape investment.

Each client is assigned a Maintenance Account Supervisor who personally directs our team to professionally service and sustain your garden. As your landscape matures, the entire McDugald-Steele team continues to monitor the garden to ensure that it develops per the original design intent.
