MAKING OF THE WEBSITE

Contact Page

First I changed the contact details by adding the Phone number and emails to the bottom of the site. To change the emails I needed to put in the addresses' and then choose what type of address they were.

We then got in contact with the two different directors and got them to send us two photos of them from Facebook to use for the website so viewers now what they look like.

The template we chose already had this built into it so all we needed to do was change who the emails would be sent to and we needed to write a brief statement about the emailing itself.

Main Page

Firstly we got in contact with Ryan to get a sort of missions statement to put on the front page. He responded and I ended up writing the main context of the paragraph and our client edited into it what he thought we could improve.

We then added the final text to the website on the main page of it

Main Page 2At the bottom of the main page we added a few brief paragraphs to explain what the mission of the youth group is, what service they do, and about the group itself. We then linked these with the other pages on our website that correlated with what we wrote about. We did this by clicking on the read more on the editor and then we linked it to the pages that they corresponded with. By pressing the link to option on the panel

Event Page

For the events page we basically wrote short paragraphs that explain the events that are going to occur in the near future such as a mission trip. When we had written supporting text with the aid of our Client, we found some of the photos from past events to put on showcase and add to the aesthetic quality of the final website. For each of the sub headers I used light blue text that is larger than the writing text. To further cater to the audience we added bible verses to the end of some of the paragraphs to stick to the Christian theme.

Adding Photo’s

Throughout the project a lot of photos needed to be uploaded to the website to improve the aesthetic quality of the website on a whole. To do this on wix we needed to add already existing photos then change those photos and upload our own from our own images. Thankfully this process is not hard so we could get it done fast.
