Our client opted for StarTrac equipment for both their cardiovascular and resistance ranges, with the exception of their Cross trainer, which was Octane Fitness, and their rower, which was Concept2. Residents now have access to 2 treadmills, an upright and recumbent bike, two elliptical cross trainers and a rower. This is complemented by 5 pieces of resistance equipment and a dual adjustable pulley, an amazing cable machine that can perform over 220 different exercises over a small footprint. The facility is completed by a stretching area with Swiss balls together with a set of 2-20kg dumbbells and a multi-adjustable bench. motive8 was also responsible for the supply and fit of the specialised flooring as well as the mirrors, which cover two of the walls from floor to ceiling providing a feeling of extra space and light as well as a backdrop for residents to assess their workout posture. ...is a new-build development, located in the historic University City of Cambridge.
