Part Navigator The Part Navigator provides a visual representation

of the features in the work.

It shows all the entities used during

modeling.

It allows you to perform various

editing actions on those features.

Modelling environment

The Modelling environment is a feature-based

environment in which you can create solid models.

Two dimensional sketchingYou can directly create a sketch on a Plane in Modelling

application. In most cases, Modelling starts from a 2D sketch and

then Extrude, Revolve or Sweep the sketch to create solids. Many

complex shapes

that are otherwise very difficult

to model can easily be drawn by

sketching.

Boolean OperationsThese options can be used when two or more solid bodies share the same model space in the part file. Unite subtract Intersect UniteThe unit command adds the Tool body with the Target body.

Boolean OperationsSubtract:When using the subtract option the tool body is subtracted from the target body.Intersect:This command leaves the volume that common to both target body and tool body .

Advance modelling toolThe advanced modelling tools are mostly used to

place different types of standard and User-defined features on a model. Most of the mechanical designs are created using the advanced modelling.

Pattern featureThe Pattern Feature tool is a very versatile tool

in NX. This tool is used to create the linear and circular patterns of features. It is also used to create the polygon, spiral, along curve, helix patterns.
