We think our name says it all. The International Countertop Expo (ICE) is all about countertops (and beyond) and the people who have a hand in producing them. Even though ICE is a brand new show, it really is a return to our roots. For example, the emphasis is once again on the fabricator, and the venue returns to the more intimate atmosphere of a Las Vegas hotel.

ICE is also about innovation. Here you will have the chance to see, heft and handle the latest products, tools and support materials in the decorative surfacing category. People and companies from around the globe come to ICE to get current on all that is cutting edge and exciting. ICE is where you will meet and greet other people whose insights will help make your company more profitable.

But, let’s don’t forget about the fun. We kick it off on Sunday, Feb. 7th, with the Big Game Football Party at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. What could be more fun than watching the Super Bowl with 400 of your closest friends while eating dogs and quaffing a few brews? The next day we get back together for a Networking Luncheon at Mandalay Bay, followed by the Grand Opening of exhibits on the show floor.

The Innovations In Design Competition is a design contest with a wrinkle. A new category – On Site Fabrication – has been added, which allows fabricators to showcase their craftsmanship and creativity in real time as they build a vanity top on the show floor. Fabricators are free to mix and match any material, just so long as their tops conform to a pre-determined size.

The conference program has been engineered by a blue-ribbon panel of industry pros to provide you with the most comprehensive educational experience ever. Whether you are interested in solid surface, natural stone, concrete, quartz, laminate, glass, paper-based products, the Green Movement or more, ICE has a session built and ready for you. Be sure to check out the favorable pricing packages for companies bringing three or more employees.

This is one event where you should plan to arrive early and stay late. A case in point is the ICE Dream Sweeps Giveaway, in which attendees will have a chance at winning all expense paid trips to exotic locations, as well as valuable materials, tools and supplies. The Giveaway happens at 1pm on the final day of the Expo on the show floor. And your chances for winning go way up the more you visit the exhibits during the three days of the show.

ICE is your industry show. I can’t wait to see you there.

Sincerely,

Russ LeeISFA Executive Director
