First of all choose your favorite image which you want in your header and Download it to your computer.

Then sign into your Wordpress site account.

Go to your wordpress dashboard. First click on Appearance and then header tab.

Note that your image size should be at least 940 pixels wide and 198 height pixels.



Then you upload your favorite image from your computer to the media library. and you can use wordpress image editor tools here.

When you upload your image into media library, you will see a thumbnail of the image. Click the Edit image button below on the image.



After clicking on Edit, Image, you will some option of image editors, Here you can rotate your image, you can change your image height and width, etc.

If you want to rotate your image so click on the little icon at the top and rotate your image.



In the scale option, you just put down the width of image, the height will scale automatically.

Click Scale button when you set you width of the image.




In image editor, you can crop your image as per requirement and Click on save button.


Now click the Update Media button, open your media library, clink the choose image button. You will see your created image and Click on show and then click Set as

header link below the image. and publish image.

Now click to view your new custom header on your website or blog.
