"Hematite" is the 8th #colorTrend for 2012. A rich, deep, dark, cold gray. Hematite is a mineral, colored black to steel or silver-gray. It is harder than pure iron but more brittle. A magnetic mineral popularized during the Victorian Era. It is believed to have metal-physical properties (healing, grounding, fortune telling, meditation, stabilization and protection) .
