I took a character from the film ‘David’s mother’ and the characters name is cool David. He is an autistic character and so both David and Mayson are both acting as an autistic character so first their I could see the link and therefore they both share the same characteristics. As they share the same characteristics and have the same mental illness they are automatically put into a ‘particular social group’ which we wanted to portray with Mayson. Our characters both have the similar clothing, which was just normal teenage boy clothes- so just a t-shirt and trousers, similar ages- so teenage years about 13-16 and they are both male. The mise-en-scene was similar as when I watched a short clip of the film I saw that they only were in one room, just their bedroom so it was in similar settings.
