Our Focus Is On Your Long-Term Success

On-premise laundry owners and managers have many needs and choices. Choosing a distributor

partner, a brand of equipment, and the most appropriate financing are all important business decisions.

Planning an on-site laundry and not sure where to begin? We can help! Dexter Authorized Distributors have built thousands of successful on-premise laundry rooms worldwide, and with over 100 years of experience in the laundry industry, Dexter has a well earned reputation for quality and efficiency. Our Dexter Authorized Distributors can help you with every aspect of building or renovating your laundry including planning, design, equipment purchase, installation, and service.

On-Premise Laundry Solutions in All SizesWhether your on-premise laundry needs are large or small, Dexter

has equipment that can meet your requirements. From our Double Load 20 lb (T-300) to our 80 lb (T-1200) washers and matching dryers, Dexter’s on-premise equipment is energy efficient, reliable, and built to last.

Durability & Reliability:Lasting quality means you’re investing versus spending on equipment. All Dexter laundry equipment is built using heavy-duty, over-sized, commercial rated components. Our machines are designed to run efficiently, continuously, 24 hours per day. Cycle after cycle, year after year, Dexter machines show up for work ready to take on the workload of the most

demanding on-premise laundry operation.

Our engineers use, abuse, and try to destroy a mechanical design before ever calling it a Dexter. We assume the very worst operating conditions, and engineer our products accordingly.

1000 Hour TestBefore any new washer model gets to wear the Dexter Thoroughbred it must pass the industry’s most severe test. A test that makes the competition cringe. Our engineers take one half the rated capacity of the machine and place it in one section of the cylinder, and run the machine out of balance at its highest spin speed for 1000 hours – that’s 42 days! No structural component can fail during this time. Every washer design that Dexter sells has passed this test. You can rest easy knowing your new Dexters can handle your toughest loads for many years to come.

Performance & Utility Efficiency:Greater efficiency equals lower operating costs on every cycle. We continuously improve the performance of our products because the most successful laundry operators demand profitable results. Our washers spin faster to extract more water. This saves time and energy in the drying process. We made variable frequency drives standard on our washers because they can save you up to 60% on electricity. Our dryers feature heat reclamation to improve drying efficiency.

The list of performance features goes on and on. The bottom line: better performing equipment saves time, money, and natural resources. Less waste equals more profit for you, the laundry operator.

Simplified Installation and Competitive Financing:We are continuously trying to make Dexter equipment easier to purchase, less expensive to install, and more economical.

To save you installation time and money we engineered washers that operate on single or three phase power that requires smaller electrical circuits, and draws fewer AMPS. These features alone can save you thousands on expensive utility upgrades from your local electric company.

Through Dexter Financial Services, your Authorized Dexter Distributor can offer you flexible financing & leasing solutions at competitive rates. You can choose between a loan or a lease and fixed versus variable interest rates.

For laundry managers looking for the

perfect combination of performance

and affordability, Dexter EXPRESS

washers are a great choice. EXPRESS

models spin twice as fast as our non-

Express models and deliver a powerful

200G-force fi nal extract. Experienced

laundry managers understand the

productivity benefi ts of greater extract

speed; faster drying and lower energy

usage, but they also understand

that there is a diminishing return

on higher and higher spin speeds.

The 200G-force delivered by Dexter

EXPRESS models hits the “sweet-spot”

in spin-out performance, delivering

great moisture removal performance

without the added cost for higher

speeds that actually deliver minimal

moisture removal performance on

many linen types. When laundry

managers look closely at the types of

loads they are processing, many fi nd

that the impact of spin speeds greater

than 200G-force is minimal, but the

equipment cost can be substantial.

Like our non-Express models, our

200G-force EXPRESS washers

feature Dexter’s easy-to-use 6-cycle

microprocessor control. This control

comes standard with 6 preset cycles,

laundry owners maximum

durability with limited

space, producing a triple

load of laundry in less

than one hour.

Dexter developed the Stack Washer/Dryer Express for laundry owners needing maximum durability with limited space. Only the Dexter Stack Washer/Dryer Express can produce a triple load of laundry from dry-to-dry in less than one hour, and last for years in tough industrial applications.

Washing gets done in an easy-to-

load triple load cylinder that has

a final spin at 200 G-Force. High

extraction removes more water,

shortening the amount of time and

energy necessary to dry the load of

laundry. Variable Frequency Drive

technology ramps motor speed in

the washer keeping running AMPs

low to help save electricity. VFD

technology extends motor life and

runs ultra-quiet, keeping your

commercial laundry environment

pleasant.

Stacked on top of the washer

is a full-sized triple load dryer.

Operators can select from multiple

Tips for Designing On-Premise Laundries

All information below is based on industry standard guidelines and should only be used as a guide. All applicable local codes should be met and may vary at the actual installation site. Dexter recommends you contact one of our experienced authorized distributors to help insure that the specific needs and applicable codes for your individual operation are implemented.

Dexter OPL Laundries:1. Dexter washers will drain floor mounted. (no bases required)2. Small loads accumulate faster. (keep the linen flow through the laundry)3. Use two or more machines when possible. (not restricted when maintenance is needed)4. Size alike for multiple machines. (ease of training, fewer parts inventory)Dryers:Exhaust duct per dryer should be no longer than 14 feet (4.27M) straight with two 90-degree sweep bends.

Use 45 degree angles where possible. Cleanouts should be installed at regular interval lengths. Multiple exhaust ducts entering a main common duct must be at 45 degree angles or less and must never be connected directly across from each other. Make-up air must be provided for each dryer from outdoors.

Water Consumption:Wash formulas and water consumption vary considerably by the program selected. 2 gallons (7.57L) of water per pound of machine rated capacity is attainable with Dexter washers.

Hot Water Consumption:Assume the rule of two thirds of water consumed is hot. Incoming ambient water temperature subtracted from desired hot water temperature will give you the degree rise required for your hot water system. The hot water system tank should have enough storage for one hours demand.

Drain Troughs: If a trough is used it should be about 12” (30.48 cm) to 14” (35.56 cm) deep and 12” (30.48 cm) to 14” (35.56 cm)

wide. For trough length, add total washer(s) width(s) and multiply by 1.2. Always plan for maximum drain capacity, which is all washers set at the highest water level draining at once.
