Why Sketch?
● Clear to explain your idea● Generate many ideas freely● Demonstrate ideas to others
Brainstorm for quick, iterative solutions on paper.
In 4 minutes, sketch out 2 different landing pages of Grub on the Go App, a social media app where users can order food on their phone and pick up orders from their favorite restaurants. They can also take photos and rate their order and/or restaurants with ratings and comments.
Include these: camera, search bar, user profile icons, and other features.
Activity: Sketch a landing page
In 2 minutes, draw another landing page, incorporating all the sketching techniques.
Activity 2: Redo landing page
A method to generate many ideas to a problem quickly through sketching, iteration, and critique.
What is Design Studio?
Talkin’ it out
When done with a cross-functional team, this process also exposes additional constraints and requirements that will be pertinent to implementation.
