Introduction:• Devaki's was started in 1996 by the

mother and daughter duo, Shanti and Madhavi Rao as a home industry which has grown to be a small scale industry. Devaki's is a block printing studio-cum-workshop - unlike block printing factories where products are designed en mass, at this studio pride is taken in creating exclusives – whether it be sarees, quilts or quilt covers!!

• Based in Bangalore but serving clientele who come from all over India and abroad as well, the main thrust of the studio has always been redesigning Sarees for individual customers who come searching for quality service. Devaki's takes orders for block printing and embroidery in retail as well as wholesale at the block printing studio while "Temptations from Devaki's" is the marketing section of the firm, selling sarees, dress material, short tops, bed covers and quilts.
