For this question, I gave my respondents the opportunity to tell me how much they would like to pay for a high quality music magazine. The most popular price chosen was ‘£2.00-£2.79’ with 8 out of 20 people (40%) choosing it. The options either side of this were ‘£1.20-£1.99’ and ‘£2.80-£3.59’, the most popular out of these two was ‘£1.20-£1.99’ meaning I’ll be taking this choice into consideration too. The least popular choice chosen was ‘£3.60+’ with 0 people choosing it.

The least popular choices was ‘Facebook’ and ‘Tumblr’ with 0 people choosing neither of them. For this question, I gave my respondents the opportunity to tell me what they would like the main article of the magazine to be based on. For this question, I gave my respondents the opportunity to tell me what type of article they would like it to be. The most popular decision with 7 out of the 20 respondents (35%) choosing it was ‘Gossip chat from themselves’. Close behind with 6 people choosing it was ‘Interview’. I also gave my respondents the opportunity to tell me exactly what they want it to be about – 2 respondents chose this option. The first response I deemed inappropriate which is why I have placed a black square over it. The other response was ‘Private Life, cars, house etc’, I actually think that this is a very good idea, meaning I may include something very similar to this in my article.

For this question, I gave my respondents the opportunity to tell me which of the selected artists interests them the most. I told them to choose 2 artists. ‘Ed Sheeran’ was the most popular choice with 13 out of the 20 respondents (65%) choosing him. The second most popular choice was ‘Arctic Monkeys’ with 8 respondents picking them. Lorde received 0 picks. The two most popular choices play with guitars, meaning that I will include an artist that plays with a guitar in my magazine.

For this question, I gave my respondents the opportunity to tell me what genres they like the most and like the least. The most popular genre was ‘Indie’ with an average rating of 4.20 out of 5. The least popular genre was ‘Heavy metal’ with an average rating of 1.15 out of 5. This tells me I should be basing my music magazine on very original artists due to the fact that the genre ‘Indie’ was the most popular.

Article 3 has a close up shot for its main image, I will also include this on my front cover because I know that the public like this feature.
