Master Bed and Headboard
The master bedroom is not complete without the master bed, which usually serves as the focal point of the room and sets the tone for the decor. King- and queen-size mattresses are often used in a master bedroom, measuring 76" x 80" and 60" x 80", respectively. Also consider the bed-frame size, which varies from style to style.
A bunk bed is a type of bed in which one bed frame is stacked on top of another.
The nature of bunk beds allows two or more people to sleep in the same room while maximizing available floor space for activities.
Bunk beds are normally supported by four poles or pillars, one at each corner of the bed. A ladder is used to get to the upper bed, which is normally surrounded by a railing to prevent the sleeper from falling out.
A canopy bed is a decorative bed somewhat similar to a four-poster bed. A typical canopy bed usually features posts at each of the four corners extending four feet high or more above the mattress.
A Murphy bed (in North America), also called a wall bed, pull down bed or fold-down bed is a bed that is hinged at one end to store vertically against the wall, or inside of a closet or cabinet.
A couch or sofa is a piece of furniture for seating two or more people in the form of a bench,
A divan (Turkish divan, originally from Persian Devan[1]) is a piece of couch-like sitting furniture or, in the UK, a box-spring based bed.
Primarily, in the Middle East (especially the Ottoman Empire), a divan was a long seat formed of a mattress laid against the side of the room, upon the floor or upon a raised structure or frame, with cushions to lean against.
A bean bag (also beanbag) is a sealed bag

A desk or bureau is a piece of furniture and a type of table often used in a school, office setting or home for various academic, professional or domestic activities such as reading, writing, or using technology such as a computer.[1][2] Desks are usually made of wood or metal, although materials such as tempered glass are sometimes seen.
A lowboy is an American collector’s term for one type of dressing table, or vanity.[1] It is a small table with one or two rows of drawers,
DRESSER AND ARMOIRE
Almost every master bedroom includes a dresser and/or an armoire to store your essentials, such as socks, undergarments, and jewelry and personal items. A typical six-drawer rectangular dresser measures 60" in width, 20" deep and 30" in height. An armoire is often taller than a dresser, around 60" wide, 17" deep and 60" in height. If you have a lot of clothes, jewelry, personal items and not a lot of space, the armoire adds almost double the height in storage while taking up the same amount of square
footage as a dresser.
NIGHTSTAND
A nightstand is an essential bedroom fixture, a place to put your phone, favorite nighttime reading material and alarm clock. Nightstands are usually square and come in pairs: one for each side of the bed. An average nightstand measures around 20" wide and 20" deep. The height of the nightstand should be equal -- or close to -- the height of your bed frame and mattress so that the pieces align properly.
MEDIA STORAGE UNIT AND BOOKSHELF
The media storage unit, a common fixture in master bedroom suites, houses media such as a TV, DVD or blu-ray player and sound systems. The typical size of a media storage unit for the bedroom is 35" in length and 30" in width. The height of the storage unit varies, depending upon the height of the bed frame, since the TV should be within eye line when you lie on the bed.
