Historic Designed Landscape –laid out by a design professional according to specific design principles.

Historic Vernacular Landscape – evolves through the actions of the people who shaped the land.

Historic Sites – a landscape significant in its relation to a specific person or event.

Ethnographic Landscapes – contains a variety of natural and cultural resources which can be defined as heritage resources.
