Facts:• The garden contains fruits and nuts ( Hazelnut,

Blackberry, Oregon Grape), but no vegatables

• It was built on old rock quarry (like Butchart on Vancouver Island)

• In 10 years, Diane predicts that will be more people using the park, and the park will have bigger trees

• Over 6 million people visit the garden yearly

Features:• Great for taking walks, working, seeing nature, relaxing, and

seeing wildlife

• Great place for gardeners to work and be creative

• Is “sunken”

• Beautiful displays and gardens

• Everyone can enjoy it

• Beautiful at anytime of the year
