LIMSLIMS stand for Library Information and Management

System. It has been developed by Pakistan Library Automation

group with collaboration of professionals of FAST-NU Lahore under the supervision of Dr Nazin Sangi, Dean Faculty of Sciences, Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad.

The LIMS was developed by Muhammad Ajmal Khan, Librarian FAST-NU Lahore with Co-developer Nadeem Siddique, Assistant Librarian FAST-NU Lahore.

CDS/WINISISCDS/WINISIS is stand for Computerized Documentation

(Information) System / Windows Integrated Scientific Information System. Formally know as WINISIS.

WINISIS is an advanced information storage and retrieval software developed by UNESCO since 1985 to satisfy the need of many institutions, especially in developing countries, to be able to streamline their information processing activities by using modern technologies.
