CHAPTER I
Introduction
Traditionally teachers encouraged that the learning environment must
be orderly and quiet. For some principles, a quiet classroom means effective
teaching with the growing movement towards co-operative learning; however,
more teachers are using activities in which students take an active role. Sharing
ideas and information with various activities occurring at the same time can make
for noisy classrooms. But it would be a mistake to conclude that in such
classrooms students are not learning.
The classroom management and mastering order inside the classroom
are the most important factors in educational process and basic requirements.
Which face the teacher since teacher complain about mastering the order inside the
classroom and it consumes much effort and time and they are considered as
sensitive important and critical factors. For the teachers success or failure in his
tasks.
The concept ‘Classroom order’ point to the learners behavour
discipline according to the followed systems and rules which facilitate the process
of classroom interaction towards achieving the planned goals.
Need and significance
They play the role in the classroom problems when they do not make
their objectives clear and when they don’t plan their teaching methods earlier.
When teachers follow traditional methods in teaching, this leads to students getting
bored and stressed. This triggers the probability of classroom management
problems. A teacher who insist on a classroom full of activity and quietness. By
keeping the students busy, working all the time without any break or any changes
in the activities lead to humiliation working and activity for the student will make
the probability of classroom problems due to class room discipline.
The social studies teacher needs to choose carefully those objectives
that pupils are to achieve. The learning opportunities are to be alighed with the
stated objectives leaving way for pupils questions and commence about course
content. The social studies teachers needs to start in planning the social studies
curriculum with a statement of carefully selected objectives the social studies
teacher should emphasis knowledge, skill and attitudinal objectives. Social studies
teacher play an important role changing in our society the study of social science
teacher is needed.

To find out the classroom problems faced by school teachers
Scope and limitations
The school behavoural problems considered the most dangerous one
which face the components of the educational process (teachers, principle, parents
and super visions) violence against teachers and student are the matters that may
threaten the educational process, students that practice deceptive behaviuor causes
disciplinary problems in the classroom and have negative efforts on students, it
may also lead to low achievement.
Operational definition of key terms social science
The social science teachers needs to start in planning the social
science curriculum with a statement of carefully selected objectives.
CHAPTER – II
Methodology
Methodology refers to the use of different kinds of method to under
take a study.
Method used for the study
Survey method has been used for the present study.
Tool used for the study
The tool used for the present study is a well prepared questionnaire.
Sample used for the study
Sample consists of tens social science teachers from Kayamkulam
locality have been taken as sample for the present study.
CHAPTER III
Analysis and interpretation
The investigator has conducted a study on the problem faced by the
social science teacher in the high school level. And a well prepared questionnaire
was given to 10 teachers of Kayamkulam locality.

On the basis of the analysis done the following interpretation has been
made 60% of teachers feel class environment is comfortable 70% of teachers fond
of the social science to teach. 80% of teachers believed that social science teacher
play an important role in the character formation of a student 60% of teachers
believed the students understand their way of teaching. 50% of teachers responded
positively. 50 % of teachers responded negatively the questionnaire have you ever
thought of changing your mode of teaching. 70% of teachers don’t conduct any
tests after teaching the lessons. 60% of teacher responded negatively the pupil
respond to their questions not a right manner. 80% of teachers do not arrange any
field trips to them. 60% of the school authority support teachers to conduct their
classes in a better way. 70% of teachers believed that the changing style and
situations affect this subject 90% of teachers opinion is they wish to apply new
method to teach this subject and make them capable.
CHAPTER – IV
Findings and conclusion
If the classroom environment is comfortable the class will more
effective. The social science teacher plays an important role in the character
formulation of the pupil. They are think to change their mode of teaching. They
don’t conduct the test after teaching each lesson. The pupils response to their
questions not a right manner. They don’t arrange field trip for the pupils the school
authority support them to conduct classes in a better way. They think that the new
generation has least interest to study social science.
The problems in the classroom and school in general are considered
one of the most serious factor facing the component of the educational process
such as a parents teachers educational – administrators and supervisors also
vandalism, theft, destruction of property, failure in the school, poor study
accomplishment, lack of educational facilities such as equipment and violence
against teachers and student. All these issues could threaten the whole educational
process. The result of the study shows that the level of class room problem of the
education.
Suggestions
Teacher needs to be certain that each pupil possess the prerequisites to
achieve vital objectives
Teacher develop deeper knowledge of the elements of culture and life
orientation diverse groups they teach so that they can serve a role model for the
student.
They can promote more accepting attitude among the diverse cultures
represented in the school and communities.
People should have ample opportunities to perceive the relationship of
the school curriculum and community.
To increase cooperation between school teachers, administrators and
the departments of education to reduce the academic problem that face teachers in
the class room.
To train teachers on have to deal with students behavioural problem,
especially in adolescence and cooperation between school administrator and
teachers to develop a number of school rules to disciplines students behavior in the
class room. And in the school in order to find a comfortable physical environment
for teaching and learning and developing to positive relationship between teachers
and students administration.
