R. Robinson holds 11 patents and continues to serve as the president and CEO of QuickStrategy Corporation. To prepare for his career in engineering and business development, Bruce R. Robinson earned a BSEE and an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

In a recent press release, RIT announced that the education research website SmartClass ranked RIT as one of the best colleges in the United States for students who want to work in the technology field. RIT earned 10th place on the list of the top 20 schools, with SmartClass finding that RIT graduates in computer science and computer engineering earn an average starting salary of around $66,000.

Rochester Institute of Technology• To develop the list of top schools, SmartClass

evaluated a wide range of factors, including the amount of computer science funding schools garner from the National Science Foundation and statistics on schools’ affordability, academic excellence, and admissions selectivity.

According to an official with RIT’s B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, the school’s placement demonstrates the quality of RIT programs and employers’ confidence in RIT graduates.
