WORK EXPERIENCE RXIT Software Solutions: 07/20/2015 – 02/17/2016
Parttime software developer for RX Information Technology. My projects include backend development that involves the creation and maintenance of databases that contain information about our pill distribution systems. Using these databases can then generate applications that query these databases for information that is used in resource analysis, on our bottle labels and in our website. I am also doing work on the front end with the website that our clients use to view information about the RXIT pill distribution machine that they have purchased. At the moment, I am currently adding more pages to the RXIT system manager .NET application that will allow customers to view information that is not currently available to them. This process involves the addition and modification of current MVC structure that will display additional information regarding the customer’s machine. Charles Hoeffer Lab: 08/15/2013 – 05/15/2014
Team member in building a system to capture and process EEG recordings from an intracranial stereotaxic probe studies performed on mice. My responsibilities during this project were to setup and install the RDT signal processing system, analyze waveform data extracted with this device, and generate user friendly steps for my PI to follow.
BURST Grant Research: 07/25/2014 – 12/15/2014 (Sue Lab University of Colorado Boulder)
Experimental techniques: Gel electrophoresis, Drug dosage trials, DNA isolation, stereotaxic implantation, EEG recording, behavioral research paradigms, various molecular marking techniques
Successful BURST research grant
Current Projects: Present
As of now, I am writing embedded software that will implement an algorithm for distributed consensus of a pattern. We proved that our algorithm can work earlier in the semester using python and now we are reimplementing the algorithm on a swarm of autonomous droplet robots. A goal of ours is to publish a paper summarizing our work.

FUTURE INTERESTS
I entered college thinking that I wanted to pursue a postbachelor’s degree in medicine, however my interests have changed after exposure to programming in my computer science classes. I plan on pursuing a master’s degree in software engineering and using this degree in a career as a software engineer, database administrator or systems security specialist.
