Having the correct equipment and keeping it safe

Whilst filming, we need to make sure that we have the correct equipment so filming is not delayed. Items like cameras and tripods are needed to carry on and progress so to resolve this problem we will write an equipment checklist. Our equipment list will be checked before and after filming, this is beneficial as it allows us to keep track on apparatus.

Not having enough footage

After the filming process, the next stage in the music video production is the editing process. We need to make sure that we have enough footage to create our full music video. To do this, in filming our music video we need to record more footage than what is initially needed.

Bad weather

For our music video we are planning on filming elements outside because of this, we need to make sure the equipment is weather proof and we film in a sheltered place.

Shaky camera A shaky camera makes a final product look unprofessional. To solve this problem, we will use a tripod in order to stabilise the camera when we film.

Organising the team and being prompt to filming. We as a team need to make sure that we are prompt and ready to film. We will be very active on our media group chat to combat this problem, texting each other in order to remind and guide every individual in the team. On the group chat we will also create an itinerary for each filming day. This will help us to plan the day accordingly and efficiently.

Poor lighting We need to make sure that the lighting when filming is good; it makes the final product look more professional. To do this we will use artificial lights when needed.

Camera dying

Equipment may be unpredictable and due to the long filming days it might stop working. To avoid this we will ensure that before filming cameras and other equipment is charged and chargers are bought just in case.

Actors knowing what to do

To avoid actors messing up their words, we will prep them many weeks before filming.
