Creative Portfolio2010 to 2016
As a digital native, I have been playing around with computers and the Internet back when Netscape Navigator was still in business.
I developed a keen interest in digital design when the blogosphere started emerging in the early 2000s.
I started multiple personal websites and blogs to create, collect and share information and pretty graphics on the topics of my interest back then.
From using basic publishing tools (i.e. LiveJournal and Blogger), I advanced to installing and applying more complex PHP scripts such as CuteNews, guestbooks, galleries and others on my hosted websites.
Now, as a communications and new media graduate with a diploma in audio-visual technology, I am able to approach digital media through theoretical, technical and creative lenses.

Temasek Review (2016)
Project Type: Internship project
Categories: Digital
Description: As part of the Temasek Review 2016 content stack, I was tasked to create a 35-second animation that explains Temasek’s ethos - sustainability. The artwork was taken from Temasek’s digital assets repository and I set up the frames of the various scenes.
The animation can be found on this webpage: http://www.temasekreview.com.sg/generational-investing/investing-with-tomorrow-in-mind.html
Project Type: Individual school project
Categories: Digital, Print, Web Publishing
Description: I selected Temasek Holdings as my client for a honours module project. Prior to the design work, I did a thorough case analysis on their digital communication initiatives. As at June 2016, their website is still static and not optimised for mobile. Thus, I proposed employing HTML5 that allows dynamism to the site. As part of this integrated marketing communications campaign, the other deliverables include a 16-page magazine and an EDM.

A Day in the Life of Singaporeans
(2016)
Project Type: Individual school project
Categories: Digital, Web Publishing
Description: This is an interactive story of Singapore’s unique culture and traditions. The purpose of using visual storytelling as a vehicle was to present the multi-faceted culture in Singapore, by giving readers a “first-hand experience” from the characters’ dialogues. Through scrolling the webpage, the user will experience the story as each strip would unfurl the characters and speech bubbles as well as the descriptions about the
landmarks. Out of the 19 photos, 10 photos were personally taken by me.

Through the 3-minute video, the mission, values, past achievements and events, as well as the features of the newly upgraded facility were presented.
Some notable guests who were present during the opening were Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, then Minister for Law K. Shanmugam and Parliament Secretary for Ministry of Education Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim.
