Hurdles in finding job
● When applying for a job, it is easy to get demotivated when there is a lack of positive feedback.
● For eg. even after applying for 1-2 jobs daily there is no one calling you back or non scheduling of interviews.
● Or, you do have interviews but are not getting successful in them.
Things to keep in mind
● Getting a job is not at all, an accurate reflection of your strengths or your capabilities.
● Therefore, it is really important that you keep faith in yourself.
● There are too many variables to affect the outcome, hence one should only give importance to things that they can change.
Few more things...
● It is a numbers game. And almost follows a 10% rule.
● When you apply to 100 places that need your skill set, you will hear back from 10 of them for the interview.
● Out of which you will get one good job.● So keep applying and don’t give up easily.
How to deal with unsuccessful interviews● Give it some time.● Being good in interviews is a skill which
needs patience and practice.● Treat each interview as a learning process
and try to improve the shortcomings that you identify during its course.
● And it will bring out the best in you.
Job is a match between Employer and Employee
● Employers have an idea about the kind of person that they are going to hire.
● Employee have a mindset about the culture and roles they will have at a new job.
● So when mutual needs perfectly meet, you will have your job.
