About Jeffrey Ream

I recently completed my Master of Science degree in Educational Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services credential through the University of La Verne with a 4.0 GPA. I have participated in courses focused on career development, educational assessment, college testing, group and individual counseling skills, multicultural awareness, and human development.

My counseling experiences have been with "at-risk" boys to general population and administration. I most recently served as counseling/administration lead for the Lucia Mar Unified School District summer school program, running all aspects of the summer term to ensure a safe and successful session. In addition to my knowledge and skills obtained from my coursework, I also have classroom experience through substitute teaching and observations.

I have been blogging and creating professional development material as The Counseling Geek - a blog to help counselors and professional educators use technology effectively in their programs.
